A lower age rating means that there is a larger audience thus the more copies it can sell.

That would ruin it for me. I'm on the internet, all the porn and hentai I could ever imagine is online. Why put it into a game? All it will do is make having people in the room with you while you play awkward

Dunno about you but I find playing RPGs with someone in the room ALWAYS wakward, unless said person is an RPG nerd as well... and with them, nuditiy wouldnt make it awkward either. They showed me most of the porn I know.

When we can get less cigarettes around the ship (why are we smoking in a damn space ship in the first place?!) and more cigars at the poker table (yes my logic was just hypocritical, but at least it's better) then we can do that.

Nudity is only seen as erotic in the eyes of the audience. There are several societies in this world whose culture see nudity or toplessness as a part of them and not as juicy globes that you can lick and suck and motorboat. If it was introduced into media on a large scale then people would grow used to it over time and your scenario would not be playing out.

The scene with Liara was arguably even better than ME1.

Also, Traynor is quite nice as well, though I still don't understand why we all have to wear underwear in the shower...

I think it's partially because violence is expected in most video games, whereas nudity and sex isn't. That doesn't mean sex and nudity is bad, it just means it has more shock value given the medium.
