I don't think they would've been handcuffed so badly with what they could do if they were still being published by Microsoft. Just my personal viewpoint. Microsoft didn't have a problem with them pushing the boundaries. When they got brought by EA, both Mass Effect and Dragon Age had the same "primetime TV" level when it came to any love scenes (e.g. people have sex and then immediately have underwear on afterwards).

Yeah but the poker table,a s well as almost the entire ship, has cigarettes everywhere, for some reason every alliance member is potentially a chain smoker. We need some healthy cigars and camaraderie instead at the poker table.

I do somewhat agree with your first point, but personally I found Jack's willingness to not swear so much in front of her 'kids' endearing, and that last line was funnier the way it was presented.

Here's why I think there wasn't much nudity.

1. It's not that important, especially since the data gathered from the previous two games showed that only a small portion of the fanbase does the romances at all.

2. Memory. Alright, so Liara has her own nude skin texture, but she also has no onboard "casual" outfit. Both Ashley and Kaidan share the "undies" skin with Female and Male Shepard, respectively, so that's space saved right there. And if the other love interests like Garrus, Tali, Miranda and Jack got scenes with nudity, each one of them would require their own custom mesh and texture. Stuff like that, it adds up.

Man After what i went through to buy this game. I went to wallmart, get to register, **** is like i dont believe you are old enough to play this game. So i show her my drivers license and she says sorry im not selling you the game it doesnt look legit.

Sooo.... I drive to the dmv (40 MILES AWAY!) Get a new license with a fresh picture of me on it. Come back to Walmart 5 hours later after being stuck at dmv and and give this lady a great big bag of ****. Scream at store manager then buy game. And when i left i told everyone at the store to go **** themselves.

Welcome to my nerd rage... Then i played the game and the nudity was non existent. Then i got to the ending and it sucked.

anyways for all the trouble of this game you'd think itd have a bit more.

I understand that from the start...but after running around the galaxy for months solving the problems of the entire universe, it would have been nice (or at least logical) to have a full crew complement before heading into battle.

TBH the problem is the stupid OMG it got naked flesh need the top rating. Whereas it could be a complete gorefest and still get a lower rating.

OTOH it seems to be the problem is the age groupings that ESRB use at lest up the top end. For interest take a look at ESRB ratings and the PEGI system. IMO the PEGI system make a bit more sense due to being a bit more relaxed on sexial stuff and bit hrasher on violence etc.

But nudity isn't something that even always means sex, and sometimes it does, but if I'm building a relationship it shouldn't be illogical to encounter it.

I always love this straw man argument whenever this particular subject is discussion.

A realistic portrayal of human sexuality is functionally different than porn.

I base this on watching many years of porn where the mailman gets jumped within moments of walking in the poor horny coed's door and later joined in the middle when the coed's hot roommate exploring her sexuality comes home.

Having never seen something anywhere close to this, I reject your portrayal of what people are looking for with how Bioware portrays the sexual side of their character interactions.

I don't need nudity, but make sure it's stupid. If I could find a fault, besides combat, in DA:O it was underwear sex scenes. RE-******-ED!!

AHA!  More grist for the mill!  I'd forgotten that in the game the Normandy was understaffed.  That means the silly/retarded crash landing thing at the end followed by stargazer and child (their descendants) is even MORE impossible than it would still be with a full crew complement!  The incest starts much earlier with the skeleton crew than it does with the full crew. 

Stargazer and the kid look like family members from "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre".  Guaranteed.  Inbred freaks.

I expect that store was busted for selling stuff to the under-aged so everyone went to the **** everyone mode. BTW you should of said you want to complain to a manager or something.

mmmh, I'm happy with Bioware just keeping it all "implied" to be honest. like yeah, if they just changed the scenes so rather than it being in underwear it's nude then yeah that's fine, but I mean I don't wanna see femshep getting banged by Garrus or that kinda thing
