i love how people seem to jump from wearing underwear to porn. all they had to do was the same as most movies, day time soaps etc you dont even need new character meshes for that just show them under covers with the covers pulled up past anything or the top of their back in the shower.

It is very easy to show nudity without it being pornographic or even showing anything remotely rude at all

Cleary, they didn't turn on the tv.  I actually like Arte in Germany and France, quality documentaries with that artistic spin, and they don't shy away from nudity either.

Man, just give us an option to censor it if we want it. Have it censored in the beginning, so maybe younger players or players who dont want to see it will not see it, but when we put the censors off, we can see partial nudity or something.... I dont understand the fuzz about it. I think there is nothing wrong with partial nudity in a game, especially in a game which focusses on relationships like this, as long as you can put it off for gamers who wont want it.

My wife is European actually.

And it matters a GREAT DEAL where in Europe you're talking about. There are a lot of different cultures and countries in Europe.

But overall, for the most part, nudity is not that big of a deal. Heck, I went on my honeymoon in the south of Spain and there's absolutely no restriction against toplessness for women at all. There were topless women sunbathing out by the pool at my hotel and everywhere on the beaches I visited.

Works for me.  Just as they have that "blood and guts" setting on some games to tone down the depiction of carnage, they can offer up a choice of game as "PG, PG-13, NC-17, or R for sexual content.

I think any declaration of "it's far too common to be realistic" is moot, but here's the thing, if I was a demon slayer travelling with my occassional bed warmer/mage/girlfriend/partner, I'm pretty sure we'd be constantly at it while journeying through the woods, and across the fields.  Quite frankly, I can't see sex not featuring...

I think YOU are missing the point.  It is patently ridiculous and jarring to see a character get in the shower WITH HER BRA ON.  NO WOMAN sleeps in her bra.  It wrecks the imersion.  It dorks the suspension of disbelief and is in your face about doing it too.  

You don't have to have realistic depictions of sex, just more mature, intelligent, reasonable, and realistic depictions (no bras in the shower, no bras worn in bed while having sex OR when waking in the morning).  That leaves a LOT of latitude.

ME1 is still the champ when it comes to depiction of sex in the ME series.  Hands down.

Yes, but not as a rule...and apparently against your preference.  It is usually done when the urge to sex is too strong to wait until getting fully undressed.  I've done that too.  It is rare as full on naked is preferable...more skin contact.  Better.

I'm not playing the game for CGI genitals or whatever but it just looks ridiculous when Traynor takes a shower in her underwear etc. It breaks the immersion of it all really, I don't see why Bioware couldn't make use of the strategic camera angles/arms like they did with Liara?

Not that I'm that bothered about it, but it does look silly!
