Ending: singular, one
We were given many varying ending(S) in ME2, based our decisions....
This same system was promised in ME3 on an even greater scale with even more variation, due to the fact that we would have a decision tree that had branched out over 3 games...
This was not realized....
I've seen some posts on the issue, but not a thread addressing this most concerning issue directly....
Yes, there are other major issues....plotholes, continuity within the lore of the series, closure....
But all of the other issues PALE in comparison to the fact that the collective of our choices throughout this grand journey amounts to NOTHING, and gives us the same 3 choices everybody else gets, with the same lame cutscene....
In a series built on choices deciding the outcome, the most glaring issue is that the finale of the entire series ends in the same way for everybody, no matter the variations in our choices
Ironically, it would seem that a series preaching variation and player choice, would be undone by lacking both traits of what made it great
The word "Ending", is Bioware's biggest problem....
