Alright, for the past few days i have been very vocal about this. But i know i'm not the only one who has had this same issue with this game on this forum. We disconnect to immediately reconnect at some random interval in a match no one knows when it's coming but the issue often comes in bloody sequence. Everyone who talks about seems to report multiple occurances. And i'm fairly certain all of us victims of this terribly irritating problem have done everything on our ends to ensure it's not a problem on our side.

The Question is Simple bioware. Can we get a bloody response stating you are working on optimizing the connection, that this is simply a problem we have to deal with until you can put a fix out there. Or will you remain silent and just leave us hanging as we continue in vane to figure out what the duece is wrong.

Frankly this is THE buggiest release Multiplayer i've played. The biggest problem of course being that we lose connection for no reason at Random intervals of gameplay to only be reconnected immediately after going to the main menu thereby losing all our hard earned XP and Credits.

Please Fix this problem or fix your Xp and credit system one of the 2 please give us some sort of bloody response on this.

Yeah, I'm having the same issue, connection lost, game ends.

Oh and let's not forget that when you lose the connection to the EA server it stops acknowledging your DLC's, so suddenly I can't load the singleplayer I'm running too because it can't prove the content, so suddenly I'm unable to play anything.

The funny part is of course that those these safeguards are targeting, the hackers, are free to play as much as they want...

PS: Not sure, but I think I fixed it once by logging off and then back on on origin...not sure if it was a fluke though.

Try logging into Origin first before launching ME3 using the desktop launcher. I think something is screwed up with ME3 kicking off the Origin client.

Tried everything, incl logging off/on on Origin - don't help, atleast not consistently. Everything can seem to help for a match or two.

Bottom line is it has to be server side, and nothing we can do about it, since a crazy amount of ideas have been theorised, tried and tossed by people here.

And EA/BW remain silent.

*bump* me too and I'm always in Origin first so that has nothing to do with it. First day I've had issues.

First day I've had issues too. I think it might be something to do with Origin, though - I was logged into it before I loaded the game, but I tried logging out and back in when I lost connection, just to see if that would help, and I wasn't able to log back into Origin for a few minutes due to an "unspecified error." Tried logging into Origin on my laptop too and had the same problem, so it's definitely a problem somewhere between my router and.their servers, and not just something going weird on my desktop.

Well it's not just EA servers today, it's also origin's servers that are crapping out, I know they are both from EA, but I'm sure they run on different servers.

Perhaps if some of you stated your location and connection type? I've never had any real problems with the MP. Hell, I'm using mobile broadband here (HSDPA).

Sweden, 25mb broadband, never had any real issues with MS/Ping/Connection in any other game, ever, from my side. Again, this is on their side, not ours.

Michigan US, 15MB cable broadband, No real issues with ping in any other game or program currently on my computer (as i've already stated numerous times in other posts) This seems to be distinctly on their side and related only to the MP i've never lost connection to the ME 3 servers while playing the singleplayer.

edit: it's also a hardline connection, i've tested hardlining directly to the modem provided by my ISP and it still drops me, Only 3 successfully completed games in the past 4 days. It's amazing really. No disconnects from any other online service or game. The only time a disconnect seems to happen is when it reconnects me to the MP it briefly lags my TS out. No issues at all with TS otherwise in any other game or program or in the singleplayer unless our TS server is being fritzy (which it has been for the past month or so).

Now it even semi-crashes when I start/try to join a MP game, or freezes at "Communicating".

EA for president.

It has been getting worse in the last few days, just now I had about 6 server drops in about 15 min or so, 2 during games.

This doesn't seem the only game affected by it.

The suggestion in this post here helped me with my connection issues (they aren't prefect by ANY means, but they are moderately tolerable now)

I might try this but my issues were occuring when my network discovery was disabled (also running windows 7 64bit) i turned network discovery on actually in an attempt to see if someone else was also utilizing my network during the times of disconnect>.>  (my UPnP is enabled by default)

That "fix" did nothing for me, nor most of those suffering from the EA fail server issues.

What we need is a official response from EA, or a real fix/workaround.

But kudos for assembling tips and ideas that might work for some.

Doesn't work for me either. Sometimes I'm lucky and I can get a few matches in but it seems to occur more the longer I play. After a few hours playing the problems tend to start so maybe it's a cache problem instead of a connection one.

Agreed, i have the same problem and logging in/out of Origin does nothing to "fix" the issue.

Very frustrating to try and play the game if you can't connect to the EA servers consistently. I can play for hours without a problem and the next day nada or even later the same day.

I don't think there's much Bioware can do, considering it's Origin that's failing and EA we should be asking. I miss the old days when we have options for multiplayer, like LAN or just punching in the host's IP, it's not like ME3 MP doesn't already handle everything else client-side.

But then that's just another feature EA can't hold for ransom against "pirates" (although pirates probably already have a workaround and legit customers are the only ones punished), so they wont' have any of that.

Surely they can copy paste this to the right place, or at the very least let us know where we should be posting.

I can only play multiplayer if I restart or turn on my computer fresh and the first thing I click is origin and I have to run as administrator. Sometimes that doesn't work so I have to either turn off the virus scanner or the firewall. I can play a few games via quick match, but eventually I stop being able to search for random games. Then I have to start hosting games. Eventually I will disconnect everyone else in the game and be the only player in the game and I have to restart my computer again and go through the process of trying to figure the gimmick to get multiplayer to start again.

Oh yeah and I also have the problem with the store not giving me the packages and just taking credits :/
