Cant wait till Diablo 3 is released, i wont miss you EA nor your ****** poor Origin. <3

I 'm still suprised some people actually believe origin is a decent Digital Distribution service in comparisson to steam or anything else really.

in actual regards to the disconnects: mine stopped for like 1 week only to pick up again with the New DLC and Patch i'm actually wondering if that's the problem right now. The only other option i can think of is that EAs servers just suck terribad and need some major fixing. Of course it's obviously user error (even though again the majority of us have troubleshooted in every imaginable and reccommended way) From EA's perspective.

So we still eagerly await a response.

Apparently they're finally paying attention to complaints regarding crashes while connecting since the patch/DLC.

http://www.digitaltr...e-connectivity/

the article contains a link to the 360 support thread. I've asked in the thread if those of us who've been experiencing connection issues (specifically Disconnect with immediate reconnect) Should also post there. And i'll try to keep this thread updated with information regarding that one as well.

However this is currently only in the 360 support forum so it may be unrealated to our issues or it could be a compilation of them ignoring our issue combined with other things they missed in the patch (as if i recall we had at least one 360 user post here saying ours is cross platform).

Got disconnected nearly every/every other game today aswell, be it silver or gold. Same problem as always. Still done everything humanly possible on my end to fix this.

Still awaiting a certain company to get their hands out of their pants to do something about this, or atleast show us the damn courtesy of an official, serious response to the widespread, gamebreaking issue.

Still.

So I'd read a few times that people are getting disconnected around the 20 minute mark (across different platforms)... I just did a silver with a friend, we finished in 19:31... as it was going to score board, my friend said "so basically you'll disconnect in 30 secs"... sort of half laughed and got to the lobby, was waiting for a 4th person to join and about 30 seconds later "you have lost connection"... Bang on 20 minutes...

For this to be the same for so many people, across multiple platforms (seen an xbox thread) clearly points to a server issue so how EA can claim it's our end is just plain ignorance...

So it would be nice for EA to recognise this and get a fix as it is incredibly frustrating...

Ever since I got the DLC my connection problems have multiplied, horrible lag and getting kicked due to no connection seems to be happen more often than not. MP has become damn near unplayable.

This is just so silly. When I get a disconnection error, I get it solely when NOT in someone's lobby. It's when I try to manage the menagerie of mp characters on my own. Now isn't a lobby hosted by the person marked as the "leader"? And when you just browse your inventory on your own, that's on the EA multiplayer server, right? Opened a new ticket with the always helpful EA gameadvisors, anyway. I'm sure we'll all be enlightened by the answer they give.

Also, what Sweeney47 said on a set time mark and multiple connection losses in a row. Happens to me regularly. Sometimes I get a good ten minutes of hassle-free armour colouring/weapon modifying/power point spending; sometimes I have to click "Confirm" after each single power point spent, in fear the disconnect strikes again.

Now I'm from Europe. I've sometimes played with Americans (you guys use the voice chat a lot more than we Europeans, that's how I know), and no problems with anything. Just the EA servers. Anybody have an inkling of their whereabouts here in the real world?

Curious that they're acknowledging and apparently fixing the 360 players' issues, but not ours. I personally haven't been able to join or host a single game since the patch and DLC, which makes me sad. Heroes of Newereth just doesn't cut it.

It is rather frustrating actually, that the Xbox folks who've had this problem For 1 bloody week or is it still just 4 days? Are actually get a damn response out of Bioware However us, those PC players who have had the problems For WEEKS bloody WEEKS! have not gotten a single response about this issue... Hell i'd honestly bet that whatever they did in the patch only amplified the already present issue we were having but they were too Buisy Ignoring us to Pay any Bloody Attention to it. I am willing to bet that is what happened.. bioware/eas handling of this issue has made me rather miffed if we don't get a response in the next 18 days i might seriously consider sending this thread and like 7 others to kotaku (they're good for publicity i spose) in a nice e-mail. Maybe if we do that then Bioware will pay attention to the PC issues too. But we've gone with out a response for 14 days toolong in my honest opinion.. The Annonomious Bioware employee who temped me could've posted a bloody response here at the very least >.<

we are rather talky in comparisson... it's just something i've noticed talking to some Germans i've meet recently.. I seem to talk more than they do (even in german).  Also since Bioware edmonton is the studio running Mass Effect and almost all (if not all) Bioware studios are in North America I would say there is a good likelihood of them being somewhere in the US and Canada. But i have no solid idea where they could be. Just Speculation on my part.

I thought this was the technical support for PC Forum? Where is the technical support?

Granted it is easier to ignore us PC players than try figure out why the server sessions are rooted, crapping out after 20 minutes, or not being able to connect at all. If they don't fix it, we'll all go away because we won't be able to play anymore.

All we need is "Sorry you guys are having so much trouble, we're looking into it.....", followed by "fixed massive session timeout bug on server, happy gaming peeps"..... LoLz

Again, today I thought I'd test this 20 minute thing so jumped into a Bronze - that way if it did happen I wouldn't lose much (except for time)...

We finished in 16 minutes and sure enough no more than 5 minutes into the next game I timed out...

What's weird is that after the first disconnect I can seeminly continute to play fine as long as I stay in multiplayer!

Clearly something happens around 20 minutes, some sort of ping or something that for whatever reason doesn't work/gets blocked or something which causes this timeout...

this is quite odd, i might test this out as well, since my disconnects started again (with the newest patch)  o've been too discouraged to try.

I don't think Bioware or EA realize that if they're going to compete with steam then they need US to support Origin which we aren't going to do if the games sell us on Origin or using origin continue to be broken like ME 3. Which is lets be honest.. The only reason many of us have origin on our computer right now (maybe some of us got BF 3 as well) . So yeah.. At this rate of seemingly ignoring us at this point (i mean look at that Xbox thread? 5 ****ing days and they get a bloody response Wheres our love?) I'm about ready just to say ****it and uninstall everything origin Related. I mean BF 3s load times and general set up is awkward enough for me to dislike it so i haven't played it since 3 days after buying it basically, and ME 3 is slowly killing itself And bioware seems to enjoy driving the stake in further.

Same her - played for about 6 hours on my weekend off. Finished 2 matches.
F*CK this game.

I can't play Singleplayer either cos of my DLC not being found - when origin or ea connection craps out that is.

I regret buying PC collectors ed. Can't refund it :(

I have to add my agreeance to this. I am really, really trying to restrain my language here as I am furious. Seething. I've had a pretty good run, very rare disconnections. But for the past few days, especially today, I've had constant disconnects. It's not my side; I happen to also have had WoW a couple of times connected and it didn't disconnect or lag whatsoever. I've read plenty of other people who are sure it's not their side either.

I have spent 4 hours of my day (yeah, I know, I don't give up, apparently) desperately *trying* to play multiplayer due to the event that's on, that and I wanted to get some premium spectre packs. I have been able to finish 2 games if I recall, 2 bronze games. I have also done 1-2 games up to wave 3 or 4, then died, one bronze, one silver, with groups that were not as good as me (I'm pretty average as it is). Pretty much the rest, including many silver and one gold where we were going pretty well, disconnects. And it mostly happens on wave 9 or 10, 11 if I'm "lucky".

And I'm really, really, really jack of being disconnected, for no good reason, and losing everything. So, I've probably spent 3 hours today for naught.

I am so angry right now that I really am going to have to stop playing multiplayer. I really like it, and I know things can happen to servers but come on, if major problems occurred I'd expect the servers to go down, or if some issues, maybe some lag, a few disconnections, but nothing like what I've experienced recently.

I beg you to fix this, along with many others. Do the servers need to be more robust? If so, please do it. Is there a bug in EA's Origin code that causes issues (no, surely not!)? Then fix .. well, get EA to fix it (I used to have issues connecting sometimes, for no apparent reason, with ME2 as well).

Whatever is causing it, please, I beg of you, fix it. I've got stupid gamer rage, sure, but partially it's because I'm spending time doing alright at something that I get nothing in return for.

I'm sorry, but I have to say it also; after the face import bug, certain universe states not being stored correctly, etc., I really can't stand this added, and to maintain equilibrium, I'm going to have to leave MP alone until I've read that this problem is fixed.

Also if you want me to not post lots and lots of text mostly repeating myself then I also implore you to fix it! Or I"ll be forced to continue ranting.... if I could be bothered (I can't).

Sorry. But, ragged, tired, and so, so very frustrated,

I just hope someone who can actually do anything about it actually reads these posts. It so often feels like these sorts of things just fall against deaf ears. Please make multiplayer worth the time investment we put in. Fix disconnection, and/or give us what we deserve, even upon disconnection,

Thank you greatly ^^. I'm just livid now. I mean i was pretty T-ed off when our issues  continued with no response, but at this point i'm getting so sick of the way they seem to treat the counsel players over us on this matter. They have had to deal with a similar problem for a whole week now... And they already have a "Hey we're working on it thread" We have yet to get a response from bioware in ANY of the Connection Issues threads(as far as i know) that don't pertain soley too the Store problem. It's just soooooo damn irritating. Last bioware game i'm purchasing and i don't think i'll cancel my TOR subscription because when whichever group is working on TOR seemingly screws up At least they fix it or respond to it in some way damn it!

Considering how many people have disconnection issues, I bet most of those issues are not on our side but on EA's side.. I mean whats the point of playing if you cant finish the bloody matches. I was looking forward to have a fun weekend playing some ME3 multiplayer, but nooooo..

I've been experiencing the game disconnect symptom TOO MUCH lately, too. I can't be sure it is related to the recent DLC, but the timing is about right. I have checked the "usual suspect issues" that Novawing24's EA rep asked about and none are present or don't apply. SO...I ran the tracert to easo.ea.com (the game servers) and then ran a continuous trace for a hundred iterations. My connection (today anyway) was 17 hops with moderate to great delays at various servers. The ATT backbone was part of the issue at 300 ms (4 hops added, although they have their servers set to omit responses to pings), but it looks to me like Origin's servers within the EA network (judging from the server ID's) are also a contributor to the lagtime with 60 to 275 ms responses. Putting all the hops together and there's a lot of opportunity for a timeout on the software side resulting in the dreaded (and irritating) "lost connection" error message! Maybe because it's a weekend with all of us turning out for Chris's battle, but I agree that something needs to be done. The dropping connection is frustrating me too much to continue to play multi. <sigh> It's isn't enough that I suck at it even with a lot of play, but the DC's make me mutter bad words when they happen on Wave 10.

I was trying that at one point but it got me temped for bumping.  So i have no idea how we go about ensuring this is seen at the top, though i will say (to my great pleasure) this is probably the most successful "were having connection issues and this isn't a problem on our end" threads. Thus far. Unfortunately that means for more 20 days now Bioware has not given us even a small resonse to this.

So hopefully if we keep going on like this we'll get recognition in some capacity, if not i think next week it's time to go to various media groups like Kotaku and some other places if anyone knows of any we can e-mail our plight and the relatively unequal treatment given to the PC community over these past 20 days in comparison to the Xbox community.
