Okay, now I know I can ignore you. Because I know what you are doing.

Nay, i am not trying to troll, way too old for that.
It's just i am not from USA or Western Europe and sometimes it makes me feel genuinely surprised when people see something as extremly offensive or homophoepbic. An old episode of South Park pops up in my memory immedately.
I am usually trying not participate in such discussions, cultural difference is huge sometimes.

I cannot speak for the romance option but from my experience he was pretty well written and did not scream in your face "I am gay",
He talked about his lost family just as Ashley, Joker or Garrus did.
In fact I was pleasantly surprised about how good he was in comparision to the way that theme was handled in Dragon Age 2.

I don't see him as a gay guy I just seem him as someone I want off my ship.

And why do you want him off your ship? A valid reason please, not "BECAUSE SHUT UP!!11"

Its not that I don't want gay people on my ship.
I don't want people telling everyone they're gay on my ship except if they're female.
I would prefer if he didn't tell me he had a husband, there should be a option to remove the conversation from the game.

This is glorious.

I know right?  As I said, I see no guys complaining about the lesbian sex scene, this fool has just proved my point :)

luukee, I think you are just plain wicked by the way :D

A nice byproduct of americanization: blowing someone to pieces is acceptable but sex is not.

To this day, that still boggles my mind.

Haven't seen it, my reaction would probably be 'meh' since I'm a straight Dutch man. I would be surprised if the scene would actually show something that would repulse a straight man on visual input alone. It takes a certain amount of indoctrination to find a kissing cuddling male couple offensive. If the puking pumpkin simply resembles disdain for sappy soap opera love stories, then I would probably agree though ha ha...

Incorrect.

We don't live by the rules of "modern society" We live by the law.

The Highest law in the US is The Constitution

The First Amendment to The Cobstitution states:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or
prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of
speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to
assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

In a nutshell:

to say them.

Not on the internet. This is biowares forum. And hate is against the rules.

Also, i'm in the UK. Your constitution means nothing to me.

Bioware is in Canada.

Hate speech is forbidden and is not protected by no 1st amendment here. Remember the whole Ann Coulter debacle at the UofOttawa.

That is correct.

Bioware's rules say personal attacks. I have attacked no one. I have stated my opinion according to the original post.

Scientifical proof? It is just a perversion and has always been. You know there are people who have turned down their homosexuality and live happily with opposite sex and children as we speak. But people like you don't even consider that, you are too hellbent to encourage them in their bestiality.

Where's the scientific proof that gods exist? Don't have any? Okay, that makes religion a "perversion".

You don't have any "scientific proof" to support your "perversion" hypothesis either, Bucko. If I were you, I wouldn't live by that particular sword, because it cuts both ways, and it'll cut you down a lot quicker than any of us. Science shows us that all sorts of things fall within the realm of "natural". Bet you didn't know that LOTS of animals engage in homosexual behavior, didja? Homosexuality doesn't threaten survival, therefore natural selection doesn't disfavor it, it's perfectly natural. But tell me again how scientific your anecdotes about people "turning down homosexuality" to live as closet cases is.

If you've been reading the thread, it quite clearly is. Also, opening the thread with nothing but a picture is often seen as flamebait... sadly people took the bait and now this thread is filled with homophobia and over-the-top hate.

They're not allowed to. People say a lot about "God of War", but even with the nudity, the sex scenes were offscreen. Gotta be careful what you do in the video game world, still too many people who find it uber offensive.

Well I know that but they could have at least stuck to some hugging and kissing. The sex scenes in ME3 are so awkward. Especially Traynor's!

"Oh hey I'm walking into the shower fully clothed" "Cool let's flail our heads around aimlessly" "I'm lifting your leg" *Fade to black*

I thought it was done tastefully and it was good how it allowed Shepard to go gay but not get too out of character. I felt it was a believable kind of gay and Bioware should be applauded for their courage in including it.

I also liked how they portrayed Cortez as being open and comfortable about his homosexuality as I think it shows how views on such have evolved in the future.

If FemShep and Liara were able to romance from game 1, it's only equal if MaleShep was able to romance another male character. Whether you disagree with the same-sex arguement or not, everyone deserves to be represented.

There are posters here who could still take opinion as a personal attack. As in they could feel as if hate is being directed towards them. Are you saying you dislike homosexuality in the game, but not in real life? I find that odd.

Keep it simple. I know a nice amount of homosexuals, people who are active participants of the BDSM community and also swingers. Do they hurt me? No. Do they pay less taxes? No. Do they work worse? No.

I hate pop music and that's not a reason for finding it repulsive.

Taking prejudices to the next level.

You're not homophobic, but you don't want any homosexual person even mentioning that he/she was involved in a relationship. Hilarious.

You'd prefer if he said 'friend', so you could lie to yourself that he is straight, right?

Pushing homosexuals back into 'the closet' is homophobic.

The 'acceptance' of female homosexuality makes it even more laughable, but I assume it doesn't strike you with equal power due to your browsers history.
