I don't want people telling everyone they're gay on my ship except if they're female.
I would prefer if he didn't tell me he had a husband, there should be a option to remove the conversation from the game.

Nay, i am not trying to troll, way too old for that.
It's just i am not from USA or Western Europe and sometimes it makes me feel genuinely surprised when people see something as extremly offensive or homophoepbic. An old episode of South Park pops up in my memory immedately.
I am usually trying not participate in such discussions, cultural difference is huge sometimes.

They're not allowed to. People say a lot about "God of War", but even with the nudity, the sex scenes were offscreen. Gotta be careful what you do in the video game world, still too many people who find it uber offensive.

I thought it was done tastefully and it was good how it allowed Shepard to go gay but not get too out of character. I felt it was a believable kind of gay and Bioware should be applauded for their courage in including it.
I also liked how they portrayed Cortez as being open and comfortable about his homosexuality as I think it shows how views on such have evolved in the future.

If I were you, I wouldn't live by that particular sword, because it cuts both ways, and it'll cut you down a lot quicker than any of us. Science shows us that all sorts of things fall within the realm of "natural". Bet you didn't know that LOTS of animals engage in homosexual behavior, didja? Homosexuality doesn't threaten survival, therefore natural selection doesn't disfavor it, it's perfectly natural. But tell me again how scientific your anecdotes about people "turning down homosexuality" to live as closet cases is.
