You're right. It was both a good read and a clever analogy. It's not so much that I abhor the ending, more than it felt like, for the first time, my Shepard was left without the option to dig deeper, to ask more questions. The game was notorius for giving us the options of 2nd, 3rd, & 4th level conversations that would provide more information (if we took the time to ask). It was a bit jarring that, in the most important conversation that has taken place in the ME universe, I was reduced to a spectator. Nor worries though, I truly am holding out for a Bioware encore.
