Here's a transcription of all the voices I could find for everyone wondering. It's located in an audio file called nordrm_talking_dead_a_D_Int. I will list who's voices I recognize.

A ton of them just whisper 'Shepard' so here's a list of that first. Also they are very very very hard to make out, so sorry that so many are not listed.

So how come no one seems to be concentrating on the last dream sequence with the mirrored Shepard and the child as support of IT? An armored Shepard is running toward the child and then sees himself embracing the child out of armor. The mirrored out of armor Shepard then smiles along with the kid.

Could be symbolic. Just sayin'.

Im listening hard, but all of the files seem to have indistinquishable chatter. I dont hear the harbinger talking and I dont hear anything about killing or not trusting someone

You get to hear every important person that died on your watch - depending on your choices, you get to hear more or less number of characters. In one playthrough I got to hear Ashely, than, Ashley and Mordin and Thane, and then all them plus Legion. In the other playthrough, it was Ashley, than Ashley, Mordin, Eve, Kelly Chambers, Thane and then Legion appeared too in the next dream. So each time another significant person dies you'll get to hear it in the dream, their quotes from the game itself - like for example, Eve - Are you here to kill me? Etc. I didn't notice any additional sentences implying anything to do with IT - all quotes I heard were already spoken from those characters during ME1, ME2 and ME3.

The final doesnt let you explore. It has a set duration and once the voices run out it automatically makes you run up to the child

And then they burn. Granted, all the dreams end like that, but could have symbolic meaning regardless.

Is it that sound that consists of two parts, with a pause that stands out from the rest of the gibberish? That sounds like old radio? Sounds like "stop ||| tripping", heh heh.

Yea going back it hit me hard. Kelly died, I didnt want her to live in fear, so i didnt tell her to change her name...never imagined cerberus would assult the citadel. Thane, Mordin, Kaiden all good squadmates. Funny thing is I killed samara for morinth and I dont hear her at all. I dont regret it either. Morinth didnt get much of a send off though, Her and Kelly are MIA from the wall of fallen members.

I'm going to guess that what the IDT guys are hearing is what they want to hear... now, I do not mean that as a detraction, I am certain those who don't want to hear anything will not hear anything... this is a phenomena called Pareidolia. I'd suggest checking it out here: http://en.wikipedia....wiki/Pareidolia

It's the same phenomena that we get from things like EVP and Backmasking (or alleged back-masking, not deliberate back-masking...)

Unless someone can isolate the sounds from the original files, and really clean them up so that we can clearly hear these things, I am guessing that this can be explained as another face on mars...

Morinth shows up as a Banshee in the monastary for the Ardak-Yashi (sp?) if you kill Samara in ME2

The sound effect is reverse delay.

3 is "Everyone's Dying." From creepy kid during the intro.

I'm fairly certain that 2 is "Please," perhaps there's more, but I doubt it...

This thread was quite good until folk started missing the point, this was not about the voices of the dead squad mates, it was about subliminal whispers, those sounds that were drowned out by other sounds, everyone knows you could hear squad mates and friends, those were bloody obvious.

I didn't hear anything there, when I heard what I did it was louder and cleared the audio range of the whispers so that you could clearly hear it

Yeah I thought this was about the "background" chatter you hear. You Definatley hear voices that is for sure. Like whispers that are fleeting and hard to decipher in game. This is BSN skunkworks now, you guys are digging and researching good job to all of you. I enjoy how this "bad ending" debacle has brought alot of the "minority" together working and sharing ideas.

I know, I've restated that many times before but newcomers comment about it frequently. It's not their fault though, I don't expect them to read every posting in here.
