Hi everyone, i just started playing DAO this week and i've gotten to the pointwhere i'm shapeshifting in the dreamworld. if they were to pick up on that and make a game in the near future i think it would be pretty cool.

Oh my. Learn to separate your text into paragraph that is too much elaboration. :o

Anyways, yes, the Fade is interesting, but not for the whole game. I was hoping to visit the Black City in DA:O, maybe in the next installment? DLC?

I would hope that anything involving the black city would be an expansion or a sequel. While it would be great that the players get to reopen the golden city (or not depending on their beliefs), I would rather see that happen after an expansion where you learn what is happening to the Qnari empire.

The black city shouldn't be a DLC. I'd rather have the black city for a sequel. Feels like the black city is the heart of... well, everything. The archdemon is nothing compared to it.

I'm thinking we may fight Qunari invaders in the future. The lore talks about how they're a rampaging whirlwind of destruction which took three Exalted Marches to drive them back.

Sten: We'll do better next time.

I have a feeling that the Black City has little to nothing to do with the Blight, that whole story being Chantry dogma.

But it will have some significance.. I say it's Arlathan and you ain't changin' my opinion.

We'll surely find out somewhere down the line though.

I'm not sure I beileve what the chantry says either, but there is something to the black city though. I think it has a bigger purpose other than floating around everywhere in the dream world. But who knows, maybe bioware wants to tease us :)

Considering how the Fade part of Broken Circle often comes up as peoples' least favorite part of the game in other threads I think that would be a particularly bad idea myself.

But many people like it too, includng me. I'm hoping for a DLC with another adventure in the Fade.

This thread gave me amusement.

The idea is poor, it won't happen.

Who are these people?  We should be prepared to isolate them from the general population before their sickness spreads.

I heartily agree. A quarantine is in order until we find a cure.

Then ship the "sick" out as slaves?

This idea sounds fresh and new!

That means that the sickness gets means of spreading. They could be put underneath houses and be used as central heating though.

I've thought of creating a mod that would add inns and a sleeping mechanic to the game, and allow for mini-game type subquests to pop up in your dreams. However, I doubt I will ever have time to make it. I think there's a great potential for expanding the Fade via mods.
