Why in the world would you NOT want an asari adept with a black widow abusing stasis bubble on your team? Either you're seriously overestimating biotic combo damage (esp on gold enemies with armor/shields) or seriously underestimating the black widow in the hands of a skilled headshotter (or actually an unskilled one, since this character is always shooting at stationary targets). That or you're just mad she's getting "your kills".

I just don't understand those people. There is absolutely no excuse for an adept to carry anything else than a pistol.

Well I know what you mean, but I carry the N7 valiant on my asari adept, to kill things before they get in range, or for circumstances where my skillset wont be as effective, like taking out gaurdians for example, its a light rifle, so it doesn't impact my cooldown time for skills that much.

I´ve always liked a balance between weapon and skills, you can´t go fully geared towards skills here, since nobody does there actual job, just overall killing, I´m not statis bubble specced but warp specced so I can deal with armor too, so are you going to kill that group of gaurdians for me?

No I didn´t think so, you´re too busy killing cannibals/assault troops for your points...

Nothing wrong with that. A Carnifex doesn't weigh that much. Your cooldown should be pretty close to 200% if not 200%. You don't lose your ability to function as a biotic with that weapon. And headshots are just efficent if you're quick.

Carrying a Javelin, Black Widow, etc does impede you from blowing stuff up with biotics.

What I find fun is actually succeeding ingame. If I wanted screw around I would do it with frriends. If by fun you mean trolling, then I can see your point.

Right, but when our team loses because the Adept couldn't Stasis fast enough due to having a sniper rifle that he/she shouldn't have, he/she is taking away from our fun.

I played with an Asari Adept who was carrying a Widow.

To be fair, by the end of the match, she had 75 kills, 50 sniper rifle kills and 25 head shots. So she did know how to use it.


It's the fault of the stupid system where suddenly every class can carry every weapon. Why even bother playing a damn soldier? All the soldier can do is "shoot faster" (or a concussive shot! WOOOOO!)

the Asari can shoot people with the same weapon, or warp them, or throw them, or stasis them. Yeah, really hard to see why they don't just stick with the soldier...

Because it's horribly ineffecient. Throw/warp, explosions (especially stasis explosions, why waste a stasis to headshot one guy when you can detonate it and freeze 5?), and general support are far more effective.

Besides, biotic explosions scale with the health of the mob, it always takes just two to kill a brute for example.

Or she's adding to the fun because it makes it more of challenge to survive, without having to move to gold for example.

Otherwise it gives you a chance to shine since you are apperently doing exactly what you're supposed to do.

OP. not that I do it often, but I've topped Gold a few times playing with friends with a BW on my asari adept. Do I think it's as strong as Carnifex X on the AA. No. Can it work though? yes.

An Asari Adept with no stasis bubble and a sniper rifle ? Wow.

And for those guardians, you can use throw and headshot them with a pistol. Not significantly slower than using a sniper rifle.
