This thread's pretty much why I only play on Bronze when I play MP. I've been an Adept Sniper since ME1 and have loved it ever since.
Although to be fair, I won't ever bring in a Sniper Rifle if it handicaps my Power Reload time. I usually carry in a Mantis and still have like 190% Recharge Time or so (don't remember the exact number), so it doesn't cripple my Biotic Explosions, and it allows me to deal with far away threats that my powers can't reach.

In all seriousness though, I'm not sure why people need to resort to insults when they realize their arguments are invalid. I'd like to think that I'm open-minded enough that were someone to point out a fault in my argument I would analyze it and change my opinion accordingly.
