You don't pay the same price. I pay for Xbox live. Maybe next time you will better invest in a PC or 360.

Invest in an Xbox? Lmao. How is your 5th Xbox working out for you? My 1st playstation says hello and my pc says goodbye.

Even comparing pcs and xboxes in terms of quality is beyond laughable. It's nothing short of sheer fanboyism.

Invest in an Xbox.... Oh man are you an idiot

I'm not saying anything that isn't true or echoed by reps at Sony and at EA. They confirmed there was in reality zero technical issues and it was a choice to not include it on the console.

The PS3 has had all the other packs added and taken away. If you believe the PS3 is technically incapable of participating in an event the 360 and PC can, you are not a very bright person.

Keep drinking that Kool Aid.

-The PS 3 in capable ,but PS Network is incapable because of a prvacy statement.

-Keep supporting Sony's blatant PR lies.

-EA's greed is what actually helps them here. Why wouldn't they support events on the PS 3?

-Keep defending your PS3 purchase by blaming everyone ,but Sony.<3

If it was Sony, I'd call them on it.  EA took the exclusivity agreement.  Look it up!

You got it backwards there.. EA accepted Microsoft's limited exclusivity contract and money, because EA is greedy.

prove it

Prove that it wasn't as all the evidence and accounts from both companies confirms this is the exact case.

what evidence? if MS wanted any kind of exclusivity for ME
1. it wouldn't be on pc
2. they'd buy the whole damn thing not timed exclusivity

You've proven how stupid you actually are.  It's Windows man, seriously?  They're one and the same.  Bioware wouldn't sell full exclusivity unless the money was ridiculous.  If you do a 1 minute search, you would know that MS has exclusivity agreements in place and pushes them at every opportunity.

There is also Bioware reps saying they're working with Sony to get around technical issues with the PS3. You don't get to say that Bioware is lying to me but Sony is being perfect and truthful. It's most likely a case of Bioware wanting to do something on the PS3 that Sony isn't allowing but Sony thinks their system is fine and they didn't want to allow it in the first place.

The event also required specific data tracking to see if you should get those packs. They can patch their game and add to it or take away from it is all that is clear, but the event was more than "Here, have free stuff for doing nothing!".

I talked to a EA rep when I kept getting shafted on my specter packs and she said she heard from her higher ups that Sony decided to exclude the PS3 from operation Goliath. It wasn't EA decision, it was Sony's. I hope being included in operation Fortress will mean that the PS3 will be included in next weekends event as well as future events to come.

There are no technial limitations.  If there were, PS3 wouldn't be able to be tallied in any polls they've taken. (They have been)  PS3 has packs taken and added just like the others and the information and feedback has proven it is going through.  Where is the technical limitation?

Looks like you figured out EA/BioWares master plan to alienate a third of their customers simply for buying the PS3 version of the game.

Seriously, you can't really blame EA/BioWare for Sony have asinine policies. What would EA/BioWare stand to gain by alienating a third of their customers by leaving the PS3 out of multiplayer events willingly? Odds are the blame is with Sony, and some people are just in denial.

Are you selectively blind?

The PS3 Network agreement prevents the datamining that Bioware employs for kills and such. Plus the timed exclusivity does not impede multiplayer events. Please complain to Sony.

Multiplayer was more of an addition to the game. If you didn't get parts of the campaign, then you'd have a reason to complain, or if it was a multiplayer based game.

Sony didn't take part in Goliath due to security concerns. That's it.  PS3 owners should be able to continuously participate in all the following events as much as Origin and Live players as they have in this last one.  Hopefully Sony will participate in future events similar to Goliath, but that's up to them.  You can't blame them after what happened last year.

It had nothing to do with Microsoft exclusivity. All that Microsoft had bought was the right for early demo promotions and leaking out content.

Bioware says it's a technical issue that they're trying to work with Sony to deal it. Sony says there system is fine and it's all Bioware. At what point in those statements do you decide that Sony isn't capable of stretching the truth, but Bioware clearly is?

I don't know the technical limitations of the PSN because I have never programmed anything on the PSN. Bioware however, gains nothing from excluding the PS3 and they most likely have numerous PS3 players as employees in their company.

It would be beyond stupid of a business move for Microsoft to buy event exclusives and then have Bioware not tell anyone about it.

Money paid in the limited exclusivity deals MS cuts at every opportunity.  As much as I'd like to hammer my console of choice and do at every opportunity.  It's almost improbable that it is Sony related technical problem and if it was a datamining/security problem, it wouldn't be fixed in just a week.

can you find the Bioware rep that said that for me. i have been looking for it for quite awhile. i have only found two things from a bioware rep on the matter, and neither of them have put blame solely on Sony's shoulders.

this is a crappy game of pass it down the line where every last person takes a simple statement and twisting it to fit their argument. nothing that has been brought to this discussion has ever been confirmed by Sony or Bioware so please stop passing it around as fact unless you can provide a source.

saying that they are working with sony does not equal "Sony's fault" and you are just doing a diservice to both the Sony, and Bioware brand name by speculating on things that you cannot back up.

And how can you be certain that it's not Sony? "Bioware can add/remove packs" is not a reason to say there are no technical limitations.

If you're so knowledable about everything to do with programming and the PSN, maybe you can fill me in on some of the details?

We all ready been complaining for a good few weeks, if the leaks are to be believed then PS3 users are going to miss out on EVERYTHING, including the new DLC due in April (Batarians and Geth).

This.

My conclusion is based off of 2 things in particular.

1-Packs can be taken and added like any others.  PS3 could reap the benefits of the event like the other platforms=FACT.  Also, if it wasn't an exclusivity issue as I suspect it was, why didn't PS3 owners reap the benefits of the free packs like the others?  You will counter with "You didn't participate so you didn't earn it"  I counter with, "Yes, we didn't participate, but that didn't stop them from including us in the past weeks even which directly relates to Operation: Goliath".

2-If security/datamining is the problem, why is the problem fixed in a week?  Seems like it would be an ongoing issue directly related to them not participating in any of the events.
