Yeah, I think they just threw together a half-assed port of ME2 to make a few bucks. The trilogy should be complete or not exist at all on a platform. You shouldn't just throw PS3 gamers half a bone and act like you're doing them a favor. I wouldn't advise anyone to play ME2 or 3 on PS3. Play the whole thing on PC or 360. Preferrably PC.

fully complete game that requires little work and resources to be ported over= easy money

You had to download From Ashes. Hence it was not on the release disc. Hence, no, it's not a different story.

Bioware doesn't have to do any kind of events, they already sold you the game and i didn't see anywhere "u get eventz for funziez!!11!1" on my box. So if they are doing it, it's because they want to, and pretty sure it also promotes the game, and brings more money to them, so it would be stupid not to do it also with PS3. It's clearly sony's doing their thing.

It has to do with retrieving in-game data from Sony's servers - the first special weekend tallied Brutes killed, for instance, so BW would have had to pull the information from Sony's network regarding the kills. Same for the Reapers Silver extraction, it had to be reported by the game-in-progress, running on the PSN.

Yeah you guys, you're on to Bioware. They created a big conspiracy to have special weekend events and exclude PS3 customers from certain ones. That's the plan. I can't believe you solved the complex riddle that headed into this conclusion.

PS3 is fine and all, but PC is quite superior to, pretty much, all consoles. Except the fact that we get a lot more bugs than most. I got the Xbox version for mulitplayer and "refined" gameplay, although graphics aren't that great.

neither company is giving a straight answer, people without a ps3 is saying is sony fault and saying is bc privacy policy, but that is so weird bc we already have other EA games like bf3 which tracks every kill you get in mp asap, other games like mw3 and more... i get psn sucks i dont like sony a lot i have a ps3 and xbox.

i have the 360 and ps3 version of mass effect 3, but i havent payed xbl so im playing on my ps3 with free psn, im not from usa so xbl doenst cost me 60 bucks and i dont get all this nice promotions in here xbl cost me around 90 bucks ( 90 bucks in my country is the same i spent in public transportation in a month going to work)and i have been spending a lot in my personal live, maybe next month i will get xbl again.

people says BW isnt tracking your promotions but if you check the left bar on bw social and go to my games-mass effect 3 it says Data is updated as frequently as possible - progress in-game may take up to an hour to appear here, under the readyness graphics they have something called our Online War Assets:

they got added a little after i promoted a vanguard and a engenier.. so people saying BW cannot know that yu promoted character on ps3 bc of sony who are they getting this info?

so i have no idea if this is sony or BW fault bc BW havent said which are teh real tech, problems they are having, maybe ps3 people will stop complaining if BW actually tell them why they cant but all they get is we have a tech problem and you cant participate..

sometimes in life a straight answer can solve you a lot of truble and people can actually undertand what is going on.. but in corp. world a straight answer isnt the solution, only a PR answer is giving.

by teh other hand i love how BW is making this weekly events, is really great and makes people play mp often, i havent seen many games doing this almost every week, so i really happy to see that bw in this is doing sucha great job.

really the money you pay for xbl goes to bw and EA i dint knew that, bc i also have a xbox 360 and i used to pay xbl before i got any EA games... bc mass effect 3 cost the same for xbox and ps3...

Sony is like a overprotective mother.

Xbox and pc do allow tracking.

Sony does not because they don't want a repeat of the hacking incident. If you bring up Xbox and pc... You are graving at straws... Literally. Most of the time it's the persons own security. And even then it's a individual. Where as with Sony it was their servers their customers. I believe it was well over 10k got information stolen in less than a day.

You can see why Sony lets very little info out.
