i dont understand why things have to go this in depth. sure the first time the debate could have been justified but now its just clearly Bioware's choice. they dont need to do events that include things that Sony's policies are incapable of. there is no reason why this event or any future events couldnt be planned out so they apply to all regions and platforms. there is no reason why you should even look in the direction that might even question whether or not everybody could participate.

like i said in another post its like going to an amusement park with some friends and one is handicapped only to find out he cant go on any of the rides. the first time is understandable, but if you bring that kid back to the same amusement park 2 weeks later instead of going somewhere that everybody could enjoy you're just an ass.

At the very least they could throw PS3 users a bone with a credit or XP increase, or a free Spectre pack or SOMETHING.

But they clearly just don't care. I'm not saying they have some deal with Microsoft; I'm not a paranoid nut. But the fact that they do absolutely nothing to make PS3 users feel included in the slightest shows their apathy towards the problem.

they came up with that event TO PREAPRE for raptor which seems like it was gimped(compared to goliath this isn't even worthy of being called of challenge) in an attempt to try and include ps3 players notice they weren't counted out of the event right away.

A lot of you are ignorant of what is going in.

How many games does Sony do this with? None you say?
Portal 2 does not count. It was made before the hacking and released during the aftermath.
If you say uncharted. Well that's a ps3 exclusive.

I will say it again.

How many multi platform games does Sony allow a third party to pull information and track their (as in Sony) customers?

I'm sure they'll let you just return the game for full price, that's probably totally a real thing. And yes, pretend you bought ME3 for the multiplayer - everyone believes that, too.

And it's still not Bioware's fault, you're ignorant and a terrible liar.

I regret buying my PS3 version of the game. It doesn't run as well and receives very little support from Bioware. It's really obvious EA made them port to Sony.

you see your biased view keeps it hard for you to see things further than that, and that really reenforces my narrow-minded comment. you are treating this like it exists inside a vacuum. there is no written law that all challenges need to record data or be done the way they are doing them. thats just how they chose to do it. now you can cling to the they didnt count Sony out argument, but i already made it clear that it wasnt wise for them to try something that even had the potential to exclude people, and you cant argue that they were not aware. the first weekend made that very clear.

also, you are going to find it harder and harder to justify that every weekend that goes by that has the same outcome. are bonus XP and bonus credit weekends gimp? not at all, people who want more are just greedy. is there any reason why PS3 people cant get something separate yet equal? again, not at all. there are thousands of ways to compromise and keep the entire community happy regardless of Sony's privacy policies. Its up to Bioware if they want to take advantage of that.

fist off there have no credit weekends and the xp weekend most agreed that it was pointless with the amount of xp you already recieve and perhaps they had already planned and dated these events and submitted them for aprroval (if that how it works) and they cannot simply backout and do something different because they didn't expect to get a no from sony.

also we have been told very little so just about everything in this thread is everyones opinion on the situation based on how they interperted the info

What a lot of people on both sides are not realizing...Bioware most likely had these planned months in advance before the release. As for the people saying that bioware does track info, that may be true..but it's Sony who decides what information can be tracked and what can't be. As to the person that mentioned the problems with single player, that one is Bioware's fault. To the guy who says "If you don't actively play the PS3, I'm done with you" I have played the PS3 and the Xbox 360 both extensively since they were released (family and friends owned). I chose to buy an Xbox because there were simply more games I liked on it. Sony still has a few that I like on the PS3 and I will eventually get one. Specifically for the multiplayer events, what you and I do not know is how long had they had these events programmed and in place before Sony came back and said these are the restrictions. I could have been months before launch, could have been 3 days before the event was supposed to go live. Another thing is that nobody knows how (if they are) they are both working together to get events on the PS3. At least thats how I see it.

your last senteces says all, the problem is we dont have any straight answer of anything, what is the real problem ( if it is a tech problem tell us what tech bw or sony has, if this is a privacy problem tell us that), what are they doing to fix this..

all we get is pR BS from sony and bw..i get why people takes sides but the truth is that noone really knows what is going on, all we have is PR talk from both companies.

Well, in addition to haranguing Bioware about the PS3 problems, we should all start questioning Sony too. I contacted Sony support, and I suggest everyone else does too. http://social.biowar...456/14#10790968

They said they were discussing this with Sony. I think I know what's going down:
EA: Give us money.
Sony: We don't have any money.
EA: Give us money.
Sony: Think of the fans.
EA: (Laughs) Give us money.

Although I would enjoy this so much if it were the case, it isn't. The problem is Sony's fault. They have been paranoid ever since their crappy gaming service got hacked.
