ive noticed however not many people tend to look that way on games and usually neglecting his infamy
well i dont and im appauled by peoples ignorance
but back to the topic at hand. Dragon Age Origins has a vast creation system and I am grateful for the opportunity to be able to flaunt my creation skills and incorporate them with this game so that i may introduce Artemis to the very vast but shallow world of RPGS eh, and so I have and I try to follow through with every little detail regarding his appearance, fighting prowess, weapons, and personality. You see ive always believed since Baldurs Gate Dark Allinance 2 that Artemis deserved his own game eh, and it has yet to come to fruition (you'd think that bioware would respond to the lack of this RPG icon in regards to them actually including him in one of their titles and such should know he deserves his own game but I do my best to get by.
On Dragon Age i have indeed once again created and homaged Artemis in all his Splender. I was very happy with the character creation system and being able to make a Human Rougue and taking advantage of its customization and more to my hearts content with almost every little detail.
I tried at first to run Artemis through Hard hahah but i ran into a bump when i encountered Kolbin in the Dragon Lair so that quickly went up in flames but i felt satisfied with my progress and success as a human rougue in an RPG game
And i was able to pick up a few things on the way towards making the virtually perfect representation of Artemis (atleast by Bioware's Standards of Baldurs Gate Series) with attire and weapon galore eh.
If you've any knowledge of Artemis you'd ask yourself exactly how i was able to pull this off and what I came across to live up to my very high expectations of Artemis, and if ofcourse im not juss blowing smoke haha I indeed am not.
In Baldurs Gate titles Artemis was included and by Biowares perception was the embodiment of what a human rougue should look like ; however, the weapons they gave him were a bit exagerated astheticly opposite its predesecor the "BOOK" da da da DAAA! They had Charons Claw as a basic long sword excluding its bland Black Surface and red outlining. Whilst in the book it had a skull atop its hilt and a silver blade engraved with various markings and a few after effects post attack like life draining and laceration. World of Warcraft dare i say was able to pull off the blades effects but not its appearance (of course with my encounters and knowledge of the sort). Though i usually juss look fot a small dagger and another dagger just a bit longer than an average dagger based on biowares perception because its the only visual evidence of what his blade even looked like.
In the game Dragon Age i came across a blade "Barbarians Sword" (or something like that, its found in the circle tower on your way to the 4th an final floor in an isolated room). and with its unique design it favored Baldurs Gates idea of the Sword. So i was content with the blade and have been throughout though ive yet to beat the game so i may find a better blade
and then there is the defending dagger that bioware included on BDG 2 which was a basic thrust dagger silver coated and as bland as any other dagger and since its the only visual evidence i have of his blade i always tend to settle for any small silver dagger i come across -__- even though in the book hes uses a JEWEL ENCRUSTED VAMPIRIC DAGGER !!!!! hah but eh what can you do but get by eh. So when i saw the "Crow Dagger" in the game i was content as well towards making my ideal Artemis in this RPG i am on a good trail.
For his attire that was a bit harder to come across and it took 3 seperate sessions of playing this game through to find (because i had to recreate Artemis 3 different times to get it right : /) Well while i was traveling in the Konari Wilds i came across a trail (Chasinds trail) which i never saw the first 2 times i played the game and so i devoted my self to completley dominating the trail to see what I would find in the end and after about 30 extra minutes in the wilds i finished the trail in flying colors and was able to find a very shall i say "cool" attire in the cache i found. And for the most part it suites my current Artemis in progress
and interestingly enough i was able to become an assassin at the early level of 7 hahaha so i was very pleased with that glitch of an event and whilst i am now at the far more dominant level of 18 im a ranger as well though i kinda doubt its relevance to an ideal Artemis in this game : /
Well there you have it, of you were able to tolerate this long topic and read it all the way through
