Well in game Thessia was the only one, of the people on the Normandy, who's planet was officially lost. Tuchanka beat the reaper, Rannoch beat them. And with the Krogans help the Turians were at least holding them.
Answers question, thread now over.

Nobody cares too much when Tali and the Quarians die either.
Yet EDI gives you a pouty face for the next two missions or so if you kill of the Geth.
Yeah, that's right. You're next, robo-bimbo. Just fly the damn ship.

Liara's the one that obviously took it the hardest. Garrus was upset, but he could deal with it. Shepard could, Ashley, James, etc. could handle the grief of the homeworlds being trashed by the Reapers. Liara was obviously shaken and in shambles over the situation, and she felt guilty (and some responsibility) over the fall of Thessia, and it wasn't her fault. She needed someone to console her.
Plus, Liara's so sweet. She needed the most attention. Facts, bro.

Also as far as Liara goes she is a very sensitive individual overall in contrast to Garrus who has been trained as a soldier his whole life and being that he is from a militarisitic society in general he is going to handle things differently than Liara who is not a trained soldier and therefore has to be handled more delicately.

I disagree. I don't think Thessia was any more "lost" than Palaven, but - if you recall - Garrus got a lot of attention right after Palaven too. Tuchanka and Rannoch were not facing a major invasion force, only a couple Reapers each (scouts and/or sabatuers). The "loss" of Thessia is made to be a big deal because it is also Shepards first "real" failure to do what he set out to do - in fact, I think they did an excellent job - I felt just as furious as Shepard about the whole situation and I felt bad for him, Liara, and just as lost about what to do next (although, I thought Shepard ought to ask Miranda how to find the Illusive Man). Thessia, Earth, and Palaven bear the brunt of the Reaper attack - especially Earth. The Reapers could reasonably be assumed to be hitting the targets they believe to be the most threatening to their continued hegemony.

Yeah, EDI does. It was touch and go for a while on the bridge. "Are you going to unplug me if we have a disagreement?" I was tempted to say "Yes..... That was a joke." if the option was offered. But I don't think EDI would have found it humorous. <_<

Other than the fact that she was in shambles?

Or, to paraphrase Jack, "take your balls out of your purse and kick some ass."
I get the feeling Liara's father would've told her that... possibly head-butted some sense into her too.

I like Liara's character but she REALLY feels like one of the writers favorites. I mean she has plot armor to end all plot armor. It sucks when writers pick a favorite character and then push her on us while neglecting others
And what about her face ?
ME1
ME2 >>> older
Shadow Broker >>> hotter
ME3 >>> more hotter
One character, 3 new faces since ME1. When people said BW made Ashley hotter in ME3 i agree but what they do with Liara is just fanservice.
Tali rules, period.
