I am pretty sure you can get there doing every specialty. The best bow/arrow/archery arrow of slaying will get you there. I'd have to look at my stats to see if I've doen it yet. I've gotten very close. But I've only played through the entire endgame once. I have 2 more characters late in game development.

According to my never-updating (since 11-23) profile, I've already done a max damage of 405. that was a long time ago. I've had more powerful characters since then.

I've been able to get this on a mage of all things. It happened so fast that I wasn't paying attention to exactly what I was casting. The mage in question has a lot of the hexes - so my guess would be something like Vulnerability Hex and Death Hex and a lucky crit on something that hits pretty hard already. I can't even remember what mob I got the achievement on, as I thought it was for killing a certain number of enemies.

As far as warriors go my Dalish guy who uses 2-handers is the closest to that magic 250 number, but the sword and board / dual wielders were quite a bit off the mark even after finishing the game.

for warrior, i've hit around 260 with dual weapons... must have crit something... this was at level 20 though...

Arrow of Slaying works well I've heard.

I was able to get that one in Lothering with Arrow of Slaying and Level 7.

One of the Refugees that try to get your head caught the Arrow right between the eye (369). Oh wait, I have to add that I'm using the Dexterity Hotfix.



I think you can score the amount of damage with the final Abilities and specially those that give you Achievements if you kill more 50 enemies with them.

Arrow of Slaying is essentially guaranteed against a white conned mob.



Mana clash is essentially guaranteed against a caster boss.



Final Blow as you've mentioned.



I haven't been able to do it on DW yet, 1h SF as a rogue. My highest hit is 83 damage, buffed by tier 4 Shale totem aura, Mark of the Assassin on the Asunder demon (Pride Demon/Fade Beast).

I THINK I got mine on a shatter combo on my mage. Can't remember for sure though

Sleep->Horror. Add vulnerability hex for good measure.

1st time was with Virulent Walking Bomb of all spells. ^^

I got it completely unexpected using virulent walking bomb as well. They must've all simultaneously exploded.
