THERE IS NO CONTACT INFO ON THE INVOICE! The two addresses are of the bakery and Bioware Edmonton. THE NAME IS BLACKED OUT SO IS THE TELEPHONE NUMBER!

Also it's already over the donation cap! Anything extra is now LITERALLY POCKETED BY WHOEVER STARTED THE THING. I doubt he (or she) will return the donation (if that's even possible).

Just so you know. You cant donate anymore. It has been closed.

This is so full of win. Wish I'd seen it early enough to add my few $$ to the cause. Hope they post a pic for everyone to see the mass of cup cakes :-)

The invoice says COD - collect on delivery. Whoever started this damn thing probably just pocketed all that money.

I suggest you guys demand a video of the donation starter accompanying the cupcakes to Bioware Edmonton.

Uh, if this is all a scam... Damn, that would suck.

He wouldnt include the invoice and the contact info for the person handling the order if it was a scam ^^

Bwahaha proves that the fandom can move mountains. Or make cupcakes, which is equally great.

Seriously if anyone is really doubting the legitimacy of this feel free to e-mail the bakery directly:

info@fusscupcakes.com

You can't really prove that e-mail address isn't just a cleverly disguised personal e-mail address.

That said, I don't believe it is a scam, but for those skeptical there really isn't anything that can definitively prove it isn't a scam. You just have to believe it isn't, and if it ends up being one contact your credit card company and try to get them to stop payments.

Yeah because no one ever lies over the internet and "someone" is always trust worthy.

Maybe I should reply to that African prince and the Russian royalty?

Seriously if anyone is really doubting the legitimacy of this feel free to e-mail the bakery directly:

You can't really prove that e-mail address isn't just a cleverly disguised personal e-mail address.

That said, I don't believe it is a scam, but for those sceptical there really isn't anything that can definitively proove it isn't a scam. You just have to believe it isn't, and if it ends up being one contact your credit card company and try to get them to stop payments.

With the caveat that I haven't actually done this myself: if someone wanted to verify the legitimacy of the given address, couldn't one just go to the Fuss Cupcakes website and check what their contact info is?

*sigh* if it's a Scam, ChipIn will have the personal information of the person who set up the charity, and will cooperate with authorities as that person has comitted FRAUD. Moreover you can contact your credit service/bank and get that money refunded incase of fraud.

But then you would get horribly fat and we'd have to pay to get a crane to bust down a wall in your house. And how would play video games with those pork fried fingers?

Don't do it man!, there are better ways!

Because every web site on the internet represents a real brick and mortar store. Nobody ever tried to fake a web site to scam people.
