I don't post on these forums often, and now I see why. Are you guys for real? Cupcakes? How about you save your protests and give Bioware some space. They are aware of the problems, so leave them be. At least wait and see what they announce come April.

Every single one of you getting behind this, and all the other dumb stuff you've done before this are blowing this entire situation out of proportion. The ending wasn't perfect, sure... but it certainly doesn't deserve this much negative attention.

STOP BEING CRAZY! PLEASE!

All the Bioware responses in this thread have been absolutely positive. Sure, it's a little bit of a shot at them but its all in good fun and they know that.

If im working extra hard on a project, I will be more than happy if some "fans" of my project send me cupcakes. Especially delicious one.
I would be crazy not to.

You're not getting my point. I'm just saying that although this is a nice gesture, it's still associated with this whole ending hullabaloo. Which has gotten old, real fast. I just think the best course of action right now, on all fronts, is to just pipe down and leave it be. Let Bioware address the issues you all have how they see fit, and the rest of you... go play something else, go watch a movie, go for a jog.

I guess this wasn't the best thread to post what I did in, as what I said was a general statement about the state of things right now. But it's still relevent.

This entire situation has turned into one of those real bad jokes. I'd honestly rather hear another arrow to the knee joke than see yet another ending thread pop up.

If we "just let it be" nothing will change. I'm sure BioWare would love us to just get over it but that's the whole point, we don't want to get over it, we want something to change.

This is one of the dumbest things I've ever seen, but it's not raging, and while I laugh at how upset you people are over an ending, it will send a clear message that there are many people who don't hate bioware, only the ending.

Make sure you add your tears into the cupcakes.

I'm not asking you to get over it, I'm just asking you to hold back your grievances for now. They are aware of your concerns, and I'm sure they are hard at work at addressing them. When I say leave it be, I mean leave it be at least until they've had a chance to address it. Then, if you're still not happy, send them a crate of syrup sponges or something.

Personally, the reason I am not doing much else is that Mass Effect is important to me. I've invested so much time into the series to the point that I dream about it atleast once every other day. The mass effect universe makes sense and I appreciate it. I want it to end on a good note.

I guess the best analogy I can come up with is to think about it this way. The feeling this ending gives me is similair to how a parent feels if his child went missing. Until he finds his child, he will rest uneasy and will try his best to get his child back. Just replace the child with the mass effect 3 ending and the parent with gamers. All people want is a concrete "this is what we are doing."

In short, we care about mass effect to such a degree that there is nothing else to do. Especially after witnessing the ending.

Man, there are people who will hate on just about anything, aren't there?

Even cupcakes.  For shame.

I'm sure Bioware appreciated the repreive from all the negative rage over the past few weeks.  Good job guys.  Wish I could have participated myself.

I respect your rights as a fan, but I am genuinely worried by your analogy.

Losing a child, and being upset with the ending of a videogame are two VERY different things.

And I do hate to be the one to say this, as I very rarely would, but it is just a videogame.

No matter how much you may not like the ending, it shouldn't stop you from doing other things. If it does, I'd consult a psychiatrist.

Not that Bioware might not listen but ...

When has any protest stopped when side being critiqued said, "We heard you, we'll think about it?"

For anyone to expect anything to stop short of actual change happening is easily manipulated. I'm an optimist and I think Bioware probably has good intentions to do something about this, but I'm not letting up until the fix is actually in front of us.

I stop posting here for two reasons:

1) When an ending DLC is released, and I'll be too busy playing it to post

2) When all hope of the ending being fixed is gone, and I leave here for good.

Until then, still holding the line.

I was just using an analogy here to explain how I feel. I know it is not the same thing but it is the only way of explainging it for me.

The fact that the endings of a video game does stop me from doing other things means something. Maybe if this was just me, it could very well be "just me." However, many other fans on BSN feel similarly. I am not alone. In this case, this situation has become more than just a video game. It affects other people's lives.

I am not sure if I am getting the point across here but If a video game can affect peopls lives, is it still considered "just a video game?"
