You're not getting my point. I'm just saying that although this is a nice gesture, it's still associated with this whole ending hullabaloo. Which has gotten old, real fast. I just think the best course of action right now, on all fronts, is to just pipe down and leave it be. Let Bioware address the issues you all have how they see fit, and the rest of you... go play something else, go watch a movie, go for a jog.
I guess this wasn't the best thread to post what I did in, as what I said was a general statement about the state of things right now. But it's still relevent.
This entire situation has turned into one of those real bad jokes. I'd honestly rather hear another arrow to the knee joke than see yet another ending thread pop up.
Personally, the reason I am not doing much else is that Mass Effect is important to me. I've invested so much time into the series to the point that I dream about it atleast once every other day. The mass effect universe makes sense and I appreciate it. I want it to end on a good note.
I guess the best analogy I can come up with is to think about it this way. The feeling this ending gives me is similair to how a parent feels if his child went missing. Until he finds his child, he will rest uneasy and will try his best to get his child back. Just replace the child with the mass effect 3 ending and the parent with gamers. All people want is a concrete "this is what we are doing."
In short, we care about mass effect to such a degree that there is nothing else to do. Especially after witnessing the ending.
I respect your rights as a fan, but I am genuinely worried by your analogy.
Losing a child, and being upset with the ending of a videogame are two VERY different things.
And I do hate to be the one to say this, as I very rarely would, but it is just a videogame.
No matter how much you may not like the ending, it shouldn't stop you from doing other things. If it does, I'd consult a psychiatrist.

I know. I'm tired, it's late. I guess this rubbed off on me in a weird way. I didn't mean to come across the way I did.
Apologies to anyone I actually offended.

I still think you all are nuts... Unlike those cupcakes.
I think we have taken a step back in our Mass Effect 3 Stages of Grief... some how we have gone from Depression back to Bargaining.
I think I'm on stage 5. =(

Just sending cupcakes to people seems like harassment, but this is just a lighthearted gesture not malicious and bioware seems to accept it so It's not, at first I thought it seemed kinda like bombarding people with **** they didn't want. Hope they like cupcakes, cause it would suck if they all went in a bin
