It shows how much people love mass effect if everyone raised 1k dollars in a few minutes.
Just hope the bioware peeps realize it and start making quality games and not being beholden to their corporate masters.

IGN are going to love this lol
i can see it now, whiney fans try to bribe AAA developer with cupcakes.
Nah kiddo.
Needs work.
Lets go with
"Whiney, entitled fans send cupcakes to our noble, master race of developers in a cowardly attempt to poison them!!!! (lotsa exclamation points, shows we're serious journalists.)
Isn't that just like the jealous, whiney, filthy, entitled, vindictive, entitled peasants they are?"
Follow it with a poll on best cupcake flavour, a, b or c and bobs your uncle...
JOURNALISM!

Even then I'll probably get defensive and say "I was really disappointed that they weren't happy with 3/4 of a cupcake. Most critics have rated the 3/4ths of a cupcake in the high 90's. But I guess the least I can do is clarify why they didn't get the remaining 1/4th." Oh and "don't worry, I am listening. Please give me constructive feedback on your cupcake issue."

As long as they're all functionally the same cupcake with only slightly different Cake magic on top (Icing)
Oh, and make sure to order from somewhere that isn't very good. I would like the Bioware guys to bite into theirendingscupcakes and go "...oh...well this isn't very good...*unhappy chewing* this is pretty disappointing"
No no no! they have to be the very best cupcakes. Just slightly burned on the bottom.
But the Cupcakes represent the endings! If they represented the game as a whole, that'd be right, but we should embody our disappointment in Cupcake form, so that they can experience what we are currently going through.

I mentioned on this thread sister thread that I wouldn't doubt some fan would've baked some cookies to give to Bioware before.

No, this is a hell of a lot better than any of the other publicity/attention-grabbing campaigns.
It's direct, sends a clear message, is cheeky, and will be recieved well by Bioware.

Haha, people I would advise you stop donating now, it's over it's goal post - any more money and it won't be going to the cakes (since well..they've already reached the price).
