When he rammed the shuttle into the other shuttle and was literally feet away from killing all of you. Assuming your LI was Ashley/Kaidan/liara would you have executed James for being such a ******? Or would you be satisfied that he saved the data.
What would you have done if Vega killed your LI on mars?

Even though I know what's going to happen, I still cringe when I see that cutscene, and you can image how I felt when I saw it the first time. I was ready to go ragemode on James if he crashed into Liara.

I'd have shoved that Carnifex pistol up his ass and pulled the trigger, twice.

Executed him on the spot.
"Hey Shepard, cool stunt, eh? Sorry about Lia.." *bang*

Nice thing about Spectre authority is that you are above the law. I like Vega but he would have died if this had happened.

Probably be, I dunno, kinda upset. I guess. Though when I saw it happen the first time, the only thing I could think of was: "Boss".

I'd impale him with an omniblade right on his chest.

I'd have just had him court martialled.

Hate him forever for it.
But continue with the mission.

I would ask him the same question i wanted to ask him when he rammed the shuttle.
"You know that thing has guns on it right?"

Push him off the station.
As I recall it was quite a long way down.
Accidents happen.
Whoops.

gas him, cut off his arms and legs, sew him up, wake him up, let him live.

I would have taken my gun, point it in vega's head and pull the trigger until the helmet breaks and keep going, in that moment my shep would turn into full renegade even though he is a paragon, no one does that to Liara and gets away with murder.

That's not possible in any way shape or form, there's no way for Tali to be on Mars during those events. But all the same, if Vega's recklessness harmed Tali in any way he would be rewarded with a slow and painful death.....after a whole lot of screaming in the worst kind of agony.

My vanguard Shepard would have gone completely still for about a minute. then asked Vega if he can fly. upon his answer she would have then bioticly thrown him off the the roof of the archives.
My Infiltrator would shove his sniper rifle down Vega's throat and pulled the trigger.

Oh come on, that was a b*tchin' crash.
Worst I woulda done is smacked him on the back of the head and said "VEGA! The next time you pull a stupid, bullheaded, suicidal stunt like that at least YEEHAW! or have a catchy one-liner locked and loaded. And god damn it, put some plastique or something on the front of the shuttle so it'll explode on impact. I'll leave the decision of what ****in' guitar riff plays when you do it, and do not let me down, Marine".

Number of cyborgs carrying galaxy-vital intel: 1
Number of nice, not lesbian pairs of globes aboard my ship: at least 3
High-five James, now go get back in the armory and never go on missions with me.
Rene-shep all the way.

I didn't have a LI. He didn't kill anyone.
He was still an idiot. The thing has guns.

He did what he had to do. The data was worth more than even my LI's life. It would have been sad, but I wouldn't have blamed him for it.
