I won't comment or epilogue on it, listnening can be more important than talking sometimes.

Thank you, Cheez, for summarizing (so to speak) what so many of us felt.
That post was very well written, Admiral Cheez and I agree whole heartedly! So I quote the above for truth!

That was a well written statement and whilst I don't agree with everything you have said I do think that the ending we got was poorly executed and Bioware can and should have done this better.
I wish that everyone put as much thought and effort to be civil that you have as it is a pleasure to see someone talking calmly rather than the rage posts of the last few weeks

What do you mean, everyone?
A lot of people have come on here and gave their view, similar to this one, without raging. I think it's Cheez's credibility that your admiring, and making everyone else's view sound less important.
The last few weeks, most people have agreed on the same thing. You just sound like you want to rock the boat.

I'm pretty sure it's my endorsement that makes things more credible. That's all that really matters in the end.
Or so I keep telling myself.

I fully admit that sometimes I think my Forum Cred makes the things I say go farther than the stuff other users put out, even though they've been equally or even more thoughtful/level-headed/personal/eloquentyadda yadda yadda. I really should start signal boosting other people sometimes...Christoffee wrote...

Then again, the "Fix Deception" movement and Indoctrination Theory spead just fine without my input, probably because...
Bingo. The fanbase can be a hellhole sometimes, but lately we've been finding more and more common ground. I think it's because we love Mass Effect too much, and we don't want it to crash and burn. What's really amazing is that some honest good came out of all this (just look at the charities, and they actually said they'd fix Deception), so I'm hoping someday Fanpower is harnessed to start really changing the world for the better. The last few weeks, most people have agreed on the same thing.
There's actually a pretty cool lecture on how gamers can change the world, if anybody's interested in watching it. It's kind of halfway between seriously cool potential and pseudo-intellectual hullabaloo, but I think it's worth checking out.
Actually, it sounds like you're trying to pick a fight. You just sound like you want to rock the boat.

While I can't quite claim that the Mass Effect universe changed me as a person, it certainly changed me as a gamer, by teaching me that it was possible to feel connected to a story, a universe and its characters beyond the end of a 15 hour campaign and a couple of video sequences. For that, I'll always be grateful to Bioware. But the ending was such a letdown, I'm not sure I ever want to experience that connection again.
Escapism really shouldn't make me feel like the developers barged into my house, shot my dog and ran of yelling something about artistic license :-(
