Impressive AdmiralCheez, very impressive, nice inclusion of fleets and consequences of not enough assets (Imagine the music that plays when the normandy Goes down and Hackett dies in a blaze of glory), and about Control/Destroy, I'd pick control because the reapers can act like the guardians of the galaxy now that they are under Shepard's control.

True, but the catch is that you don't know how long that control will last.  They could break free tomorrow, or ten years from now, or ten thousand years from now.  It's ultimately a gamble, but it's preferable if you don't have the assets to not plunge the galaxy into a dark age.

Thanks, though!

But still I want your opinion on the Indoctrination Theory (Personally I think it's a load of ****e but still, it would be intersting to know your opinion)

I figured I forgot something in that most mighty deluge...

Indoc Theory is kinda fun.  There's just enough evidence to make it work, and it's something the devs can pick up on if they want a quick and easy way to "fix" the endings.

Yeah but still like you said it's Just enough, which means (to me anyways) that you have doubts about the IT, so if you have doubts, then tell us.

And also if there are signs that the reapers are starting to regain their control, then I'll send all of them to a star so they can be destroyed before they become a threat.

I feel the same, but you expressed this in ways I could never be able to.  This is a beautifully written post, and I agree 100%.

Well said AdmiralCheez.

Basically how I feel as well, but had trouble writing something without swearing.

Hope Bioware are reading this thread.

Totally Cheezy :P

That is it, Cheez. We're making you a separate War Asset. Excellent piece and speaking with the voice of numerous ME3 ends all around the world. Hopefully, BioWare actually does listen.

You know Cheez, it's just what you said about the Control ending here is what worried me about it in the original version. Control, but for how long? 50,000 yrs? Tomorrow? Ha! Then what good is it? Face it. It's a risk.

I also noticed you eliminated the Synthesis ending. Was it Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle that threw that out the window? Just wondering.

For me it's always been the Destroy ending. It's the only one of certainty.

Loved your write up. I know it took a bit of time. Thanks.

There certainly are several paths to take with this without totally trashing everything. I do remember hearing something early on about keeping our save games because of what they had planned. Well I've kept mine. Now we're hearing a little more, and it's starting to look like we're headed into overtime.

Wow. Beutiful post. I hate what these... Husks from bioware have done to my game.

Hold the ****in line people.

Hold the line not just for shepered, the galaxy, your LI, your shipmates, the disgusting plot holes, pick your favorite color. Hold the line so that this jerks don't treat us like garbage.

At least pretend to care about the people who pay ur dam salarys. Good grief.

That just about summed up my feelings exactly. There are a couple things I might add about the loss of dialogue choice, the use of deus ex's in plot, and the results of mass relay explosions... but otherwise, perfect.

Exactly OP.

I think that's one aspect of this whole issue that I don't think is getting enough attention. The fans are mostly not upset because of a sense of entitlement or other nonsensical reasons. It's because we have a passion for this game series like no other. Heck, I even took two weeks off worth of vacation just so I could devote my entire time playing ME3 (that and my birthday). And man was that three days after finishing the game a huge bout of depression. So if your eye-gazing pass this thread Bioware, please hear us out here.

My God, someone actually created a thread about the ending of ME3, the ME franchise, or Bioware without swearing or yelling?!?!?

Considering the amount of those other kind of  threads that have popped up here lately (I swear they're breeding like krogan), it's just refreshing to see somebody write something that expresses themselves as a fan of Bioware yet critical of the ending. It's soemthing that I can 100% agree with.  Thank you for that.

But I got more out of these games than just the fun escapism and entertainment and stuff.  I actually came away a changed person, and dare I say a better person.  I became more patient, more tolerant.  I started to care more about the people around me and the problems they and the rest of the world faced.  And, for the first time, I felt confident
enough in myself that I could make a difference.  Shepard had molded me as much as I had molded her.  I had learned that, no matter how bleak things get, you’ve got to keep fighting.  If you work hard enough, if you get enough people motivated to work together, if you care and you show it, you really could make a difference.  Paragon +100

Thank sweet baby Jesus I'm not the only one! <3
