Cheez's biggest, mightiest, and possibly last epic rant. Devs, my darlings, read!

They should all be prefaced with the fact that we're all fans and we all love.
And when we hit you, Bioware, it's because we love you.
No, I kid. I kid. <3

It might be a "rant" to some, but you were able to capsulize what the issues were. Thank you.

Also, props to that poor mod who was compelled to edit my post for me while I dosed off in English class.
And Dave, O Great Canadian, I humbly kneel before and beg forgiveness for not heeding your warnings.

Yes they should. Because if we didn't love Bioware and this franchise so much, there wouldn't be anything to be angry about.

We've repeatedly seen that it can be done, and victory by conventional means should be a possible outcome, if we did enough to prepare and chose to reject the paths we're offered. It's not like that would be a happy rainbows-and-bunnies ending, just one with its own unique set of problems. The fleet would suffer horrific losses and the galaxy would be thrown into utter chaos in the aftermath - the balance of power will have shifted completely. I think it's worth a shot.RiouHotaru wrote...
While I completely understand your "There was no chance to challenge the Reapers face to face and prove to them that they were wrong, that we were stronger than they thought, that we were worth more than they gave us credit for." part, there's one HUGE problem with this.
The game pounds it into your head over and over and OVER again:
The Reapers CANNOT in any circumstance be defeated via conventional warfare. Standard rules of engagement and strategies do NOT apply.
How do you "prove you were stronger", when the means to do that won't work?
Well said, OP.

Also, God, must you guys put the weeping Liara in the "Liara deserves a better ending" banners?!? It's like daggers in the chest. Like the ME3 ending.

I have a love affair with this game company, and the people who have made it what it is, and I want them to love us back by healing the ending.

One thing I disagree with here is about the Relays. I think the ME universe is a lot more interesting with them blown up. After that, if you want to get from Earth to Thessia and see how they're doing, you've got to work for it. Explore star systems. Find places to discharge your drive charge.
Academic unless there's a sequel, of course.
