That's nice and all, and we all basically already know what happens, but isn't this the No Spoilers corner of the forums?

Once again, the Admiral displays her awesomeness! Very well said! Sums up a lot of my own feelings too.

Good job Cheez, you've made the only one of these rants I've even bothered to read all the way through.

If only all statements of reproach were so composed.

They should all be prefaced with the fact that we're all fans and we all love.

And when we hit you, Bioware, it's because we love you.

It might be a "rant" to some, but you were able to capsulize what the issues were. Thank you.

I'd like to thank everyone for the positive comments.

Also, props to that poor mod who was compelled to edit my post for me while I dosed off in English class.

And Dave, O Great Canadian, I humbly kneel before and beg forgiveness for not heeding your warnings.

Yes they should.  Because if we didn't love Bioware and this franchise so much, there wouldn't be anything to be angry about.

While I completely understand your "There was no chance to challenge the Reapers face to face and prove to them that they were wrong, that we were stronger than they thought, that we were worth more than they gave us credit for." part, there's one HUGE problem with this.

The game pounds it into your head over and over and OVER again:

The Reapers CANNOT in any circumstance be defeated via conventional warfare. Standard rules of engagement and strategies do NOT apply.

How do you "prove you were stronger", when the means to do that won't work?

We've repeatedly seen that it can be done, and victory by conventional means should be a possible outcome, if we did enough to prepare and chose to reject the paths we're offered. It's not like that would be a happy rainbows-and-bunnies ending, just one with its own unique set of problems. The fleet would suffer horrific losses and the galaxy would be thrown into utter chaos in the aftermath - the balance of power will have shifted completely. I think it's worth a shot.

Well said, OP.

Pretty much agree with everything you said. I would keep replaying the whole series over and over again just to see the outcomes with different choices, but as it stands right now, i just cant bring myself to even play ME3 again. Its like the series is dead to me.

I don't know Cheez from Adam, but I'd buy her a drink if she's old enough to have one.

Well said.

Also, God, must you guys put the weeping Liara in the "Liara deserves a better ending" banners?!? It's like daggers in the chest. Like the ME3 ending.

Nicely put, Cheez. I feel very much the same.

I have a love affair with this game company, and the people who have made it what it is, and I want them to love us back by healing the ending. :)

Cheez, I am sorry about what the ME3 ending has done to your overall ME experience.

I hope someone from Bioware gives you the response you deserve.

As usual, a Cheez post is well worth reading.

One thing I disagree with here is about the Relays. I think the ME universe is a lot more interesting with them blown up. After that, if you want to get from Earth to Thessia and see how they're doing, you've got to work for it. Explore star systems. Find places to discharge your drive charge.

Academic unless there's a sequel, of course.
