But then I'm stuck in my old ways and still think dial up was the best thing ever too so dont pay any attention to me.
Back to the topic at hand, and which i should of expanded on in my original post, I agree with nearly everything you put down and despite the jarring format

Well, of course I don't understand. The only thing I know about twitter is that it imposes some sort of draconian word count that allows people to realize what it's like to live under oppressive regimes.
I don't touch social media with a ten foot pole. Not that it isn't nice and all. However, it contains the word social.

I'm seeing stark contrasts with Bioware (specifically upper echelons)
and it's fans. On one hand we are unhappy about the ending for a variety
of reasons (most which fall under the lack of following through with
promises of closure and VARIETY) and Bioware with sending mixed messages
and seemingly empty words.
I also see similarities to many other
things in life; the biggest and most famous to us of the North
Americas is the American Revolution.
"WHATS THIS NONSENSE?" I'm
sure many of you, fan and Bioware alike will say. "How can you compare
War to fan outcry to a video game?" you might think. Because the war was
caused from similar reasons. Now, I am not saying this outcry is akin
to war; nor is it equal to a loss of life but the repercussions and
fallout from this event and how it is handled will be akin to World War
for video games.
"Why is this like the causes of the American
Revolution?" The biggest reason was that British leadership did not
understand American colonist feelings and sentiment; they didn't "get"
them. They sent mixed messages and "punished" them for their outcry This
in turn caused improper action to be done to the Americans and
rightfully placed outcry to those actions to occur which led to war.
"But
Hunter; what does a history lesson have to do with video games?"
EVERYTHING. History repeats itself; even in seemingly alien and
unrealted areas. Here the situation is no different. The fans are
displeased, have shown why they are displeased and yet what I see is
very...unsettling. They have sent confused and mixed messages to
EVERYONE' and the fans continue to show their displeasure at Bioware. I
have come to find Bioware the best storytellers in the market, and the
most caring for their VERY UNPLEASABLE AND FICKLE fanbase. This inaction
and confused response could lead to even more anger and displeasure and
the destruction of not only this community but possibly the fall of
Bioware*.
Now I myself actually liked the endings, but from a fan
and consumer standpoint I am not liking the responses we have gotten
nor do I like the talltale signs of the storm to come.
In the
end, this is simply my input; and why should you care? Because I have
seen such a great schism happen before. It happend to Bungie and it will
happen again. If Bioware truely cares AND the fans truely care we will
continue the dialogues but ABOVE ALL we will continue to be honest and
open to one another. If we are to solve this problem for all; we must
discuss on BOTH SIDES. But I digress; a view words from someone such as I
won't change either sides viewpoints. I simply wanted to get a view
words out in a more "neutral" and more constructive way than simply
saying "This is bad" or "I dislike you".
Now
discuss away; call me a fool; call me a genius. But don't forget the
rich, wonderful stories we have and remember that this community isn't
just for the fans, but for ALL who enjoy great stories and fun times.
Be safe, be well and be nice.

My own take is slightly more that, over time Shepard became a little bit of me. And in killing Shepard, and effectively the ME universe, Bioware killed me, and left my friends stranded somewhere, unable to even retrieve my sorry corpse and give me a decent burial..
It hurt..
So true Kilshrek; I started ME1 creating a Shepard in my own image and I felt like that was me throughout the series. To end it like it did felt like a part of me - a virtual one - vanished. Well said.
This doesn't really make the ending sound bad. If anything, it makes it sound like a tremendous accomplishment.
If I felt that way about the ending I would have thought the game a masterpiece. I just can't get to that point myself because there's too much incoherence in the ending.
Edit: did you realize that what you felt was what they were trying to do?

I'm not asking for civility. I'm asking that the smoke and mirrors from Bioware and the disorganized response from retake cease.
Take it from someone who's seen it happen, right now this will only end in sad faces and broken hearts.

Then no offense but I'd prefer it to happen. Regardless of my opinion on the matter at hand, the day I ever support that people not actively voice their opinions as consumers and as individuals as often and, most importantly, respectfully...is the day I just give up on all things worth considering.
Compliance and meekness will get people no where in our world. Take it from someone who often suffers from both of them.
At least those sad faces and broken hearts would be able to hold their head high and be proud they stood by their opinions.

One thing does really give me hope - whether or not IT or any theory pans out - the boys and girls at BW are flesh and blood people like all of us and are at least as [psychically] invested in the ME universe - they CANNOT be immune from the reactions we are all feeling - so if I put myself in their place, and with the power to change the ending, via IT or whatever, there is not a shred of doubt it would happen...

Wild inane arguing and disorganized complaints is why Bungie fell apart.

I respect your concerns but I still can't say I agree. Sometimes, it's the uniqueness and individuality of the responses that give them weight. Since we're here already I'll use Cheez's. The mixed in personal reactions and experiences give the arguments a human characteristic rather than just a bullet pointed list of complaints.
So yes, while a certain level of organization is good and healthy, it can also be stiffling and too rigid. Especially when you're dealing with a corporation...no matter how full of humans (and one cupcake monster), I believe it is better to appeal to the human characteristics than the corporate ones. By sharing unique experiences you can often make people remember why they do what they do in the first place, for better or worse in terms of the 'cause'.
Basically, yes just wild arguing will get nobody anywhere. Debate however is a very healthy way of exchanging ideas, information, and opinions. But debates don't always have to be organized or with a single coherent message. They can have an overarching theme. The theme here? We'd really like to pretty please ask for a revised ending, cherry on top of the cupcake and all.

In any case, I agree with you, as usual. Of course, I'm one of the few who felt like the endings would be far more palatable with just a bit of closure. They wouldn't be great, of course, but they wouldn't suck anymore. I also don't feel as though the ending ruined the series or even just ME3. The only thing the ending ruined for me was the ending. Though it does almost seem like they've written themselves into a corner with this ending. How exactly do you plan on making more ME games with the Mass Relays destroyed in all possible endings? You could do prequels, I guess, but those suck almost all the time.
But yeah, I would be fine with the endings as they are if we got some indication of what happened to everything we came to know and love about the series. Both big stuff like the krogan with the genophage cured, and little stuff like what became of our squadmates.
