I saw a thread about a loading freeze in Grissom Academy. It hasn't happened to me there, but it has happened to me twice entering the Citadel shooting range. Might be a possibility on most/all loading times.

Ditto, has happened every time I attempt to go into the shooting range except for once or twice at most.

I freeze up about 50% of the time on the range. My sample size may not be big enough (i.e. if I try more often the real percentage will be lower) but when it fails I must hard boot my 360. Most times I save my game, choose a new weapon loadout and start a mission to try out a new gun instead of gambling on the range.
