She was xenaphopic because of her familes history and lacked confidence that the alien races would come to their aid if needed, throughout ME1 Shepard has the option to change her mindset.

The only thing you're missing is a mildly amusing scene where's she's wasted and laying on the ground. Other than that, NBD bro

If you don't get her back you miss out on the most funny scene in the game, plus the most useful ability for soldiers (marksman). Ash is worth it.

There seems to be several variations on just how wary VS is of you. On the highest level, they'll stand down at the Udina scene without even needing to be prompted to. On the lowest they're practically trying to get you to shoot them.

Nothing at all. This "refusal" system should've been big part of ME2 where it was all about trust and whatnot, not just introduced only for VS in ME3. I was a super d*ck to Tali in ME1 and she was still all over me in ME2. In the end, ME2 recruitement missions boiled down to Pokemoning the squadmates. At least you could've failed the loyalty of some of them.

Ohh that's pretty cool. There are so many different outcomes with the VS. They can ask to come back or refuse you, and you can actually kill them off. Hmm.... I love having my crew around but I might just have to say no to Kaidan once just to see what it looks like, and the quickly reload because I would miss him if he wasn't there.

I am really not sure how much that matters, at least compared to how you handle them during the Coup. In one playthrough I never visited Ashley, and was rude to her on Mars. I chose the Renegade interrupt and the Renegade dialog choice and she backed down, letting me kill Udina. When I went back to the Normady, she was still waiting for me and still asked if she could join the team again.

Cool, so she can still join my d-bag renegade Shep after the coup attempt. I was starting to get a little worried here. No romance though, but it suits my Shep in that particular playthrough, especially when the mission comes first.

And before anyone gets any impressions otherwise, I am an Ash lover, so it's rare that I'm an ass to her.

Different options and outcomes I gess. On my my fem shep I got the simple join or reject option.

On my male shep so started the conversation more negatively, but I had a bright blue option on the left side to get her to join. Picked the upper right one though and she did not join me.

Difference between the two? On the femshep I visited her three times. On my male shep I visited her the first two times and broke up with her the second time I saw her.

So.... Ash doesn't handle rejection well? Time to dust off my one and only mShep save, where I romanced Ash in ME1 and Miranda in ME2

No worries bro she is annoying anyways and always questions Shepard loyalty to the allience,I don even use her in missions ,its the squadmate.that I really dislike even Kabul is amazing even if he is abut of an ass bi at least he is funny ,ash is a freaking ****.

I think that you get a war asset for leaving them with Hackett, just like leaving Chakwas. But I will always have Kaidan and Karin with me    =)

Yes Ashley = 25 war assets, Chakwas = 10 war assets.

I seriously only got two conversations of the VS questioning me about Ceberus, so I don't understand why people are acting like they were sending you emails and voice messages about it every 10 minutes in the game. Did you get more if you chose renegade responses?
