Oh I loved this ending, I just thought it has a lot of similarities. Three Cthulhu monsters from "deep space" attack each other with blue, green or red space magic. There's even a blue ghost that talks to you, though he is an old man. The trippy ways they'd mess with your perceptions as a player reminded me a bit of indoc theory. Plus, you can only get the true ending by playing through all three colors! See, we've been doing it wrong.   

Much better the first time around.
