they fell into a plot hole. Unless Bioware decides to release Omega DLC in which case everyone but the people Aria likes will fall into the plot hole.

IIRC, the last part of the game happens on the Presidium tower, probably in the inaccessible core area Avina mentioned in ME1. There are only human corpses there because the Reapers just started to collect humans through the portal on Earth. The other species (probably their corpses) are located on the wards which you can see around the area with the control panel and the white elevator.

Sorry for my ****ty English.

Most did die, but many were saved too. By the real hero of Mass Effect: Dr. Conrad Verner.

Okay if they're standing by the everyone is dead statement and still planning on releasing Omega DLC I'm gonna be beyond offended. Everyone is dead because of artistic integrity, unless we need them to sell you more dlc then space magic will resuscitate them.

They were inspired and uplifted to death, like much of the rest of the galaxy.

Wait...so what happens to Aria, I thought the mercenary fleet only listened to her orders?

Aren't you glad you did all those fetch quests for them?

But they said dlc would occur before the ending, so Take Back Omega dlc would mean Aria isn't on the Citadel at that time. Oh, wait. That's logical.

Of all the people that would have escaped, I would place Aria on the top of the list... she had her own private army/navy.

Well...there goes the refugee teen, that nice turian c-sec officer, that arguing couple from ME1, Barla Von, General Oraka, the bartender at Purgatory who cut me off, that arguing turian/asari couple, those two humans deciding to join the alliance or not, that civilian militia I authorized, those biotic students from Grissom Academy I authorized, that salarian with the new armor and his female friend, Dr. Michel, Kelly Chambers, Commander Bailey, Aria...anyone else I'm missing?

Once again I will point out the facts. In my game Dr. Conrad Verner successfully activated the conduit from the citadel and helped the majority of the civilians escape to Illos thanks to the brave defense of the Citadel Defense Forces.

Prove me wrong.

Basically at the end of ME3 everyone is either dead or barely surviving, living in the dark ages in poverty, and even better is that all that great Reaper tech is in ruins so it's gonna talk a hell of a lot longer to get back to the advanced tech stage that they were at before the battle.

Yup..... WHY DID I SPEND SO MUCH TIME ON SIDE QUESTS!?

Wouldn't be the first time BioWare's pulled something like this. Just look at Taris in KoTOR. That pissed me off a lot.

I think it was actually a good move by BioWare having everyone on the Citadel die though. When Earth, Palavan, Thessia etc are being destroyed by the Reapers it's hard to care too much about them because you don't really know those places very well or anyone who lives there. With the Citadel though you've spent a lot of time there for all three games and you actually get to meet and talk to the characters who live and work there. That means when they are all killed it's a much greater emotional impact then seeing some planet you've never been to or hardly spent time there being destroyed.

No it isn't, because we never see anything anyway.
We're informed they're dead -and I can't stress this enough- by Twitter.
We are informed of the deaths of everyone aboard a major hub area for all 3 games...... by Twitter..

At least it would if any of the characters actually brought it up! As it stands it's just killing for the sake of klling and nobody takes it seriously.

Doesn't anyone think about the Keepers? They probably need all that biomatter to keep going for the next cycle. Nothing goes to waste.

Bioware should just release a statement explaining everyone in the game is dead..

I bet the keepers are like roaches though. Nothing kills them.

I think having everyone just die like that on the Citadel was part of a lazy development plan.

Yeah. Everyone is dead.

That kid waiting for her parents? Dead.
That guy you helped getting his family on the citadel? Dead.
Aethyta? Dead.
Conrad? Dead.
Barla Von? Dead.
Aria? Dead.
Bailey? Dead.
Charrs wife? Dead.
The council? Dead.

On the upside, that **** that was cheating on her boyfriend that's fighting the Reapers is dead, so... not all bad.

Why did I do all that running around for people? Why did I convince Liara to talk with her "dad"? Why did I convince Kelly to change her name? Why did I bust my hump trying to save the council from Kai Leng?

It all seemed harmless...

Probably for the same reason people went around helping their neighbors, friends and family in Hiroshima before we dropped a nuclear bomb on it... war is hell.

Yes. The deaths of the people on the Citadel may be a pointless, hopeless tradgedy, but that doesn't stop them from being dead.
