To be fair, I never verified it, so I have no idea if it's really true. I just read it here a few days ago.

Sorries if it's inaccurate.. :pinched:

Nothing to be sorry about. We are talking about the people that gave us RGB.

And the only further info we get on that is on Twitter.

Twitter.

.. How would they know they were coming?
And still. The place was incredibly over populated. Speculation for everyone. :wizard:

exacuated them to where? on what? And I don't think they had any advance warning or all the planets that got hit would have evacuated.

Khalisah Bint Sinan Al Jilani was on the Citadel. She was probably single handedly holding the line!

People want to hear your story Harbinger.

Is that all you got Harbinger, Commander Shepard hits harder than that on his way to lunch.

that actually is true. It's on her mass effect wiki page.

It says she's considered MIA, so maybe she's not really dead. Or maybe we'll meet a husk called Emily Wong in a future DLC.

Baley was like ""Mother ****ing reapers on my mother ****ing Citadel!"
And than he saved every single soul, while Shepp was playing pick-a-color with a StarKid.

p.s.
Blue Rose of Illium was pregnant with Char's kid.
Bioware needs to check a dictionary and see the difference between "bittersweet" and "sadistic".

I have no idea what you all are talking about. Everyone on the Citadel was totally fine. While Shep was arguing with illusive man at the end you could see the wards, and there were flying cars in the usual traffic patterns, people going about their usual routines. Minus some human corpses at the portal entry, business as usual on the citadel. Until it exploded and crashed into earth, at least.

(end sarcasm)

dropped in to the website to see if they've said anything new.

apparently since I don't follow twitter I'm not privy to the rest of the game, or something.

I have dismissed the game entirely since I finished it. I can't even bring myself to pick it back up. And then when I read threads like this and think "wow, I never even thought about that. example 17 of EAioware phoning it in"

at every turn it's like they are screaming at me "no, really! we don't ever want your money again"

DLC discussions are moot. Unless they are free I'm not going to see them. This is well into 'matter of principle" territory.  I might as well pay someone on the street to kick me in a very uncomfortable place (and no, I don't mean the back of a volkswagen) .

I figured the Reapers probably turned off life support and everyone died. D:

What I find insulting is that we'll probably get a Retake Omega DLC, and while I do want it, I'd hate to actually complete it and have Aria and people and stuff actually be on Omega when I complete the game, because now they're stuck on a rock in space that can't grow food. Is Omega even near a planet that can support life?

Indoctrination theory says that shep hasent yet made it aboard the citadel. There are so many epic characters up there you know they are holding the line till support comes. I mean come on Zaeed, Jacob, Bailey, All of C-sec, Aria, Liara's matriarch dad just to name a few, they aint going down without a fight

Liara's father died in the Cerberus attack on the Citadel.  You overhear the bar owner talk about it.  That's all she's given, one lousy sentence that you don't even initiate, you just overhear.

Wait for the Evacuate the Citadel DLC. Take on the role of Dr. Conrad Verner as he teams up with Commander Bailey and Aria T'Loak to rescue the citizens of the Citadel from the Reapers!

I would seriously buy that.

Hey guys I have one teensy tiny problem with your theory of people escaping.

Well...Shepard some how escaped seeing as that thing wasn't too far from him. Most likely some people that weren't fighting got away from earth to get to the citadel. So it's possible...just most likely majority are dead as dead can be.

Yeah let's face it, that scene is about the impact on the viewer, not logic or reason.

"Hey I see a fully-intact functional Alliance warship over there, I guess it could attack me or get away, maybe i should... OOOO blue shuttles!  Lemme shoot those instead."

I'm sorry, I guffawed at your last line.  Mostly to stop from screaming or crying, 'coz I'm right there with you.  Whatever they're holding out as a public face, Bioware really needs to take some quality time alone with itself and ask:  whatever I thought I was doing going in, is this really what I wanted?  Do I really believe all these folks are just making this up to be difficult?  Is this the direction I want to go in?  Can I really look at all these decisions up and down the line, and say, YES, these are the creative and business decisions I stand behind?  I'm okay with where this is going?  I really don't mind ratcheting back production values and depth as long as the EA folks keep telling us how much DLC we'll sell?

One of the most frustrating aspects of the last level (to me at least) is how you just kind of hear that the Citadel was moved to Earth.

What?!

It was invaded by the reapers and then just kinda... moved? What about everyone inside? When you board the thing you see nothing but piles of human corpses, what about its non-human inhabitants? And why the hell does this happen off-screen?! It seems slightly important!

The most nauseating implication is that everyone who was on the Citadel is now dead, If they weren't killed by the reapers they're obviously killed when the thing blows up, and nobody was exactly running evac in the middle of the fight. Which means, the council, Commander Bailey, Aria T'Loak, all the people in the refugee camp, and everyone else on the station is completely screwed no matter what you did to help them. That's almost as big a massacre as the victory fleet getting stranded on Earth, and it just kind of happens off screen without anyone bringing it up?!

Sure you can kill of characters to add dramatic weight as long as it's relevant, Thane, Mordin and Legion are perfect examples. But there comes a point when this just becomes pointless slaughter, and that's when not even your characters acknowledge that it happened.

Dont' forget 2 out of 3 endings you blow up the citadel and crucible too.  So everyone aboard are all dead.  That includes the council and Anderson

That frustated me.  After Cereberus attack you would think Citadel beef up the security and defense a lot more.

And you would think that Normandy would have messaged you first instead of finding out from a Prothean VI.

Joker: Commander Reapers are attacking the Citadel
Shepard: Why would the Reaper attack the Citadel?  They no longer need it to open the relay.
Prothean VI: Because it is the Catalyst.
