I think everyone dislikes the Reactor..... and I am inclined to agree. It's not a bad layout per se, but the lighting and the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. And it's just hard to find a spot that can cover the a large part of the field. You can bunker down and have nothing happen for a minute, and when you go out to search, you get jumped on by everyone.
Dagger's lived up to the expectations that I had of it. But it's a little too easy sometimes, because you can cover the whole map at the array hub, except under the array. The other 4 are a bit more balanced (although Glacier just becomes a cluster-#@$% if you're playing Reapers and ravagers, brutes, and banshees all want your sorry rear end =P).
Favorite map? (And least?)

I LOVE firebase Dagger. I've only got to play it twice for some reason, it rarely shows up. As for most hated ... I don't really hate any map. They are all fun with different challenges. Awfully tired of playing on Firebase Ghost and Giant though. Hopefully new maps come soon lol

favorites: white and dagger for their well laid out cover and reasonable objective locations
hate: reactor on randoms, I always wind up playing a longer range class on that map and get screwed over because sniping can be a nightmare and glacier in general due to how cramped it feels.

I like all the maps except reactor, between the low light and my partial color blindness it's almost impossible for me to see any enemies. My favs are dagger and white. I like controlling the high ground.

Depends on the difficulty for me.
Giant, Dagger, and Ghost are great on the lower difficulties - I like being able to snipe anything from across the map.
On Gold, Reactor and Glacier are perfectly easy and enjoyable to play.
Firebase White... well it's okay, but kind of a mix of open-air and close quarters, so it's difficult for me to decide what to do with it. I can enjoy it on the lower difficulties and the higher ones, but it doesn't really fill a niche.

++Giant
--Glacier
Mostly due to their color scheme / atmosphere. But could also mention tactical reasons already explained here.

Favorite: Dagger and White.
I do like Reactor since it seems to be the biggest map; I've only had to do the hacking once in the center with a random group but that's when you breakout the AR's or SMG's, spam powers, KILL EVERYTHING, and HOLD THE LINE!
I like Giant but it has the same problem as Reactor when the hacking objective is in between the starting bunker and the control room for the guns.
Least Favorite is Ghost because there's only one extraction point and you're screwed if you go straight for it since there is no way out of it.

From most-favorite to least-favorite:
1. Firebase White (Noveria). Got very well acquainted with this map during the beta, so I know more or less all of its ins and outs, where to hang out when X happens, and so forth. Decent visibility, but at the same time it doesn't make snipers godlike, since you can't lock down an entire map by hanging out in one relatively invulnerable spot (like you can on Ontarom).
2. Firebase Ghost (Benning). Also a favorite since the demo release. It's open without being too open (again, like Dagger), and there is virtually always an open path of retreat if things get too hairy. The extraction point is slightly more of a pain than White's is, because it's on low ground and you get annihilated if you immediately bunker down there, but that's why you always conduct a forward defense of the extraction point in Wave 11.
3. Firebase Dagger (Ontarom). Okay map overall, but snipers dominate it (more so than usual, anyway). Plays to the strengths of Vanguards as well. Doesn't seem quite as well balanced. It's an okay map, not a great or terrible one.
4. Firebase Giant (Tuchanka). Fairly similar to Dagger, except the cover can be a little...weird. There's That One Upload Point that everybody mentions in the middle of the map, which has basically no cover in one direction, and awkward cover in the others. Fighting to keep control of that place is always a nightmare. But if you don't end up with that, the two areas on the flanks make for great places to bunker down, while still possessing enough of an escape route to be viable.
5. Firebase Reactor (Cyone). Probably the glitchiest of the maps. It also has That One Upload Point (in the reactor itself), and is organized oddly. Also, it's huge, so there's even more opportunity for public players to get totally lost and killed far away from anybody else. Like some other places, the cover for the extraction point is a little weird, but hey, that's why you do a forward defense.
6. Firebase Glacier (Sanctum). You know how I've said that cover can be awkward at some points on some maps? Yeah, it's like that everywhere at Glacier. The place is also organized that, save for the main room (which is usually too large to defend well), there are only two routes out of any given place, and both of them are generally stoppered up by enemy forces on higher difficulties. When coupled with some other pet peeves, like playing as an Engineer on a team with three Black Widow Infiltrators (happened recently on Silver, was obviously an utter disaster), the experience can be little short of miserable.

Tricky question. I find Dagger to be the easiest (except against the Geth, and even then it's not too hard), but I'm going to say Ghost- not too easy, not too hard, and I find it hilarious that so few people know you can climb up through the window of that bunker right by the extraction point.
My least favorite is Glacier. It's so easy to be overrun, and just as easy to run into a fresh group of enemies when falling back.
I think the worst part about Reactor is almost NOBODY knows how to play it. Most people either hold the bottom of the hack room/extraction point or just charge around hunting. The best spot to hold is the top of the hack room- one person can hold the hack room with someone else checking in every now and then, then have the rest hold the ramp and walkway. Mobs don't have a clear shot from a distance, and funnel very nicely. For the hack, it's really only a problem on wave 10, and then you just need to be aware and not stingy with the rockets. Extraction's also a cake walk- hold at the top of the hack room, then at :30 everybody charges together to extraction whichever way has the least opposition (you have three options, and none are terribly long).
