hey guys i have kind of asked this before but i ask again because it is really frustrating and i really want to go forward with this modding thing. this is the last time though so don't worry that i'll spam the forum

when i use the tutorial here: http://social.biowar...hp/Map_tutorial
there is a part where the instructions say that you're supposed to put a TGA file called epona.TGA in an override directory together with a number of GDA files. I have the GDA files but i have no idea where the epona.TGA file is supposed to come from. anyone have any ideas about this?

That's the graphic for the new map you want to use. That's mostly the point right, since you are creating a new map? At the bottom of the page are tutorials for creating your own map image.

The TGA file epona.tga isnt something that comes with the toolkit, any map graphics that you want to use for your module that isnt one of the original maps, you have to create yourself. Looking at it, I would have to assume that the author threw his together quickly in photoshop or something just for the purpose of that tutorial... you can use any TGA formatted graphic that you like for your map, the only part that took me a few mins to muddle through was the m2da stuff and figuring out how I create my own in a way that doesnt intefere with other mods.

The tuts about map making on the bottom of the Wiki page are actually quite good, I have followed them through myself and they are easy to follow and produce some cool looking maps. There are also some links there where you can download maps that other people have already made too, some of them are really good.. ;)
