You lost me at not avoiding spoilers.

I avoided spoilers with ME3.

You know what would have happened if I knew the spoilers? I would have saved 60 bucks.

On the other hand, I knew pretty much everything about Uncharted 3 going into the game, and it made me want to play it more.

Yeah I know what you mean, I actually got some of ME2's finale spoiled. I just got more excited, because it sounded awesome and it was.
I just can't trust a BioWare game anymore, any purchase will be done after a lot of research.

I'll still probably buy the DLC. Hey, somebody's gotta check the stuff out and review it on Youtube first.

I'm not buying any DLC that isn't a new ending altogether.

This is my stance as well if its mainly pre-ending DLC its getting ignored.

As with any future Mass Effect 3 DLC, I'll simply wait and watch to see what other fans think of it first.

I will not buy it until there are some fan reviews telling me that it's good (hopefully spoiler free) Though I don't think they should charge if it's an ending DLC.

I usually buy first and form my own opinion before I look at reviews or spoilers, but I am a little shy after this experience. I would def want more details before I put any more cash into the ME experience. Not saying I have given up at all...heck, as buggy as DA2 was, I still love that series and look forward to 3. But for ME3 by itself, or any potential spin-offs taking place in that same universe? Buyer beware is my motto.

I'll probably base my choice on the description. Any non-ending story quests I'll totally go for. If it's related to the ending, though... it will depend. I'm cool with some clarity, but I also like my speculations. <_<

I've said it several times - BioWare has provided me with many many hours of high quality entertainment, and have earned this do-over. I'll get whatever they produce to improve the ending, and try it out with an open mind.

If it is more of the same crap that is in the current abomination of an ending, I will be done at that point. Won't come and complain here, won't try to change anyone's mind... I'll just be done. If I ever buy another BioWare game at that point it will be the "ultimate" edition for 30 bucks with all DLC and such a year or so after it is released, and then only if it does very well according to fan reviews.

BioWare changed the way I thought about computer games, especially with KotOR. I went from just playing games to really becoming immersed in the escapist fantasy of their universe. I didn't appreciate the risk involved with doing that until the frustration and disappointment with the ending of the Mass Effect trilogy hit me in the face like a wet mop. If BioWare proves unable to get this right it won't just effect my purchasing of BioWare games, it will very likely cause my basic attitude about computer games to change again. I really don't ever want to see something I put this much time and invested this much emotion into turned into complete crap ever again.

Definitely taking a "wait and see" attitude with anything that has Bioware on it from now on.
