Please no more! You seriously destroyed the Mass Effect with the very sad anti-Liara ending, we don't want the universe destroyed further with EA pressure to release and budget/time cuts!
Shepard is the centre of the story! I'll be OK for a Mass Effect 4 if you guys make a DLC for ME3 that reunites Shepard and his/her love interest!
Thanks!

I'd be open to new ME games, provided the current ending is addressed... As it is, BioWare have already made clear, even long before the release of ME3, they were intending to make additional games set in the Mass Effect universe and even go so far as not ruling out an MMO... They did state that ME3 would be the end of Shepards' saga...
Truth is, unless the ending is fixed, it'll all be prequels or spin off 'side-quels' as there really isn't any way to have a Mass Effect game, without the relays...

Exactly, not even an MMO is possible in the Mass Effect universe, or atleast not Post ME3 anyways.
Also, I tend to frown on MMO's, I see how Bioware handled TOR, and I wasn't impressed at all.
No Mass relays = no future endeavors.
Without some major ret-cons, ofcourse.
Also, I just wanted to reiterate on this...
NO MASS-EFFECT MMOs

there is just not a very big chance of it, the asari had the tech right or atleast the partial knowlegde of it.... they were apparently on the grasp of making there own mass effect relays when they reapers hit just like the protheans.
so its possible that you could rebuild the relays but just very unlikely, it would need to be ONE HELL of a good story line to work and i mean a REALLY BLOODY GOOD ONE. lol
suppose though that the term "mass effect" wasnt just used with the technology but rather what you do with your choices ... lol but yeah thats a stretch and even then it would still seem pointless to a lot of us.
provided bioware uses the community to activiely engage in discussion about what the story line could be im down with it.

This. I am game for more ME games, so long they don't move to an MMO format.

Anti-Liara? It was anti-everything! Anti-Shepard, anti-galaxy, anti-squad, anti-hope, anti-logic, anti-choices, anti-satisfaction.
I would change "anti-Liara" to "anti-Kaidan" in my personal case, but essentially this.
New endings or not, I wouldn't want to play another ME game if it doesn't have Shepard in it. Shepard is Mass Effect, to me.

On top of that I hate MMOs because I like to lose myself in my games but, no matter how great a job they do with an MMO's development the world will never change and your choices will have no weight. Plus the immersion will always be ruined by people who name their character superbaconlover97 or the vehement political debate being waged in the trade channel.
As for the original thought of the post I kind of agree I want a solid ending with closure and then ME laid to rest while I still have fond memories. I think its time Bioware brought us a new IP. An action RPG with an untried setting would be more then welcome.

I wouldn't mind prequels about the Rachni Wars and/or The Krogan Rebellions to be honest. As long as continuity and in game historical accuracy were followed of course. No humans or thermal clips. *winks*
I love when the Shepard VI does a 'Take That' at the ME2 Development team, with the comments about how it didn't sound as cool to say "I just filled him with 5 dischargeable heat sinks" or words to that effect.

I'm more concerned about the fictional universe than I am with Shepard.
Yeah I always figured Shepard would sacrifice himself/herself to stop the reapers. I am fine with that. I wonder what is going to happen to the galaxy now with the relays gone.

The biggest issue I'd have with an ME MMO is that it seems like as soon as a series goes MMO subsequent single player games are gone forever. I loved the warcraft games with a passion then we got WOW and that was it. I loved the KotoR games but we'll probably never get another one of those.

^ this.
the series is amazing as is (with the BIG problem of course), but if they introduced an MMO of mass effect.. IMO it would destroy the series, im a fan of MMO's but i would hate to see ME turn into an MMO.

They need the finance to create further games, where do you think that finance comes from?, perhaps it might be a good idea to encourage?KotorEffect3 wrote...

These two people have opinions grounded within reason. I would love to see what else is in store in the ME universe. If anything comes out post ME3 the reapers would be a tough act to follow.
I've heard rumors of MMO and FPS games on the horizon, both of which I don't like. I much prefer seeing it all from the third person.
