I really don't care if they release more Mass Effect games. ME3 did a pretty good job of saying pool's closed for me.

I'd like a new ME game every year, please. But not MMO.

I agree. I would rather mass effect end with ME3 after they fix the endings and have the universe expand through a lot of books in a similar way that the star wars universe was expanded with books.

And, in some small way, it was also Anti-Jacob.  Never forget.

I would prefer they finished ME3 properly, then offered us alternate products like strategy games or shooters, and then someday put together a neat sequel to ME3 with new characters. I'd love to someday play the Asari daughter of my Shepard, or something to that effect. :)

Please no more Bioware or EA games. They are corrupting the gaming industry.

Stuff MMO's up the backside of that reflux known as E/A!!!!!

Those frags can choke on their over-priced buy2play format.

As for this utterly convoluted mistake known as ME3, uh folks, just let it die already, as a failed artsy attempt, into "No Mans' Land".

It probably wont be called ME4, but rather it'll have a snappy title lie Halo Reach or something. Mainly since ME is a trilogy, but knowing the rEApers, we'll get a ME4 regardless. But yes, no more ME til you ditch EA for good.

I heard rumours on this very board about Mass Effect 4 and other stuff.

Please no more! You seriously destroyed the Mass Effect with the very sad anti-Liara ending, we don't want the universe destroyed further with EA pressure to release and budget/time cuts!

Shepard is the centre of the story! I'll be OK for a Mass Effect 4 if you guys make a DLC for ME3 that reunites Shepard and his/her love interest!

Thanks!

Says the guy that is posting on their website with four of their games registered to his profile.  I will never understand people that waste their times on forums of things they hate.

ME 3 is not a mistake,  sure the last 5 minutes were a headscratcher but don't condemn the whole thing.

Mass Effect is far to awesome and successful a franchise to end after this trilogy. Any speculation on it ending here is pure butthurt and you need to lube dem' up and keep the love strong.

They already have clarity enducing DLC, additional DLC (please be Omega.. oh yeah boiii) and

"New Full Games" underway (Ray Muzyka, Statement, 21 March 2012)

...so yeah.. butthurt over the endings (my butt is now lubed and back how it should be since the announcement of clarity+ DLC) should end now... the fans and devs have both won.. and more Mass Effect is on the way - whether you want it or not.

I, for one, will buy up everything Mass Effect - and proudly wear the "Take My Money" t-shirt for Bioware. There are SO MANY s***hole IPs out there.. this is truly a great GREAT Sci-Fi franchise, which are few and far between these days.

Fantasy can kiss my a-hole, Sci-Fi gets my cheddar every day of the week.

My best guess is that they will more or less make the "control" ending semi canon, the Citadel will remain in the Sol system, the Reapers will still exist, and the Quarians and Geth will replace the Asari as the most technologically advanced species. I wouldn't be surprised if most of the Reapers disappear, but Harbinger "defects" and remains a villain in the galaxy. The various species will reverse engineer what remains of the relays and develop new and more varied FTL technologies. There is no reason why the relays, wormholes and the Alubierre "warp" metric (Tantalus drive) could n't coexist in the same universe.

Bioware has already stated, several times, that there will be more Mass Effect.

http://sarparker.com...r-mass-effect-3

http://kotaku.com/54...er-trilogy-ends

And Casey Hudson, I believe in the Final Hours app, said that he was pretty confident that he doesn't want to make a Mass Effect that takes place after the events in Mass Effect 3. (Probably because the galaxy is so screwed over)

Someone qouted it, but a screenshot would have been nice.

Take it however you will.

I agree with OP. It's like seeing your pet dying, nobody wants to see the point at which everything goes downhill even further and it needs to get put down.

Stop adding to Mass Effect Bioware, thanks!

But, honestly, Mass Effect 3 is the end of Shepard's story, and I don't think I could bring myself to play another Mass Effect game with a different lead.

"Shepard is a hero, a bloody icon." Everyone knows Shepard, everyone loves Shepard, and everyone will always know and love Shepard. I don't think any lead character Bioware could come up with will ever be able to compete with Commander Shepard.

And just say 'Commander Shepard', it rolls right off the tongue, and it sounds and feels so good to say.

I read some supposedly leaked information about Mass Shift or something like that? I doubt it was real, but it did show me just how much potential there is for more stories in the Mass Effect universe. I bet that if bioware does make another mass effect game it will be freakin sweet.

I realize that I sound like a fanboy right now, but I'm not sure why that is supposed to be an insult?

It'd be strange if Bioware made a mass effect mmo, they've already made a sci-fi mmo, why would they impede on their on market? :s

Oh, and no one wants a mass effect mmo. Which would make it MORE strange if they made one.

We? I know your opinion is not enough but why does every whiner have to include everyone in their posts to make a point? Feel powerless? Weak? is that why minority burns so deep?

You don't want anymore Mass Effect, here's an idea. Stop coming here and never purchase another Mass Effect game.

I'd be open to new ME games, provided the current ending is addressed... As it is, BioWare have already made clear, even long before the release of ME3, they were intending to make additional games set in the Mass Effect universe and even go so far as not ruling out an MMO... They did state that ME3 would be the end of Shepards' saga...

Truth is, unless the ending is fixed, it'll all be prequels or spin off 'side-quels' as there really isn't any way to have a Mass Effect game, without the relays...

Tend to agree with this. I'd play them IF the ending was fixed given how the entire galaxy is suddenly now a grimdark nihilistic dystopia with the current one.

Though it'd be a huge blow to "lose" Shepard for future games. I'm just not sure I could get into another ME game without my Shepard.
