The thing is a Mass Effect 4 to tie up the loose ends and give fans a chance to "say goodbye" to their stories would actually be a good idea and it lets EA and Bioware milk the franchise just a little bit more before they take it in a new direction.

And make no mistake, we're going to be seeing Mass Effect video games, novels, art books, comics, figurines, movie(s), smartphone apps, anime(s), documentaries, OSTs, etc, etc, etc for a really long time. Bioware put tremendous funds and creative effort into crafting the IP and every big name developer out there knows there's lots of money to be had with the Mass Effect universe.

The 'rumours' were just wild speculation...

I'd be open to new ME games, provided the current ending is addressed... As it is, BioWare have already made clear, even long before the release of ME3, they were intending to make additional games set in the Mass Effect universe and even go so far as not ruling out an MMO... They did state that ME3 would be the end of Shepards' saga...

Truth is, unless the ending is fixed, it'll all be prequels or spin off 'side-quels' as there really isn't any way to have a Mass Effect game, without the relays...

If the ending was INDOCTRINATION, then Shepard's saga did NOT end. If he survives at the end (mine survived, I'm not sure how others got him killed), then it is clearly not the end of him!

He DID survive, either with or without indoc theory. Thats not just someone random man they hint on in the "Breathscene" . It cant be. Why would they,
