better they put sound of warning when the enemy tossing grenade. Even some of skilled guy in MP hard to aware grenade and get them killed.

Let's see: Mantis, Widow, Black Widow, Saber, Mattock, Graal, GPS, Claymore, Wraith, Disciple, Carnifex, Arc Pistol, Paladin. I'd consider those viable anywhere. How about you?

My buff list includes all SMGs and some ARs, especially the Geth, it's basically a laser pointer right now.

Edit: Biotic explosions are fine imo. It would be nice if tech bursts didn't require a kill with the second power.

That would be nice yes. We don't really need an entire army of stunlocking units.

Maybe just give them a 1HKO unit like the others have.

You read that wrong.

If they keep nerfing, there will eventually only be a handful of viable weapons and/or classes.

I sympathise, Marauders are by far the most dangerous when compared to their other faction analogues, (although rocket troopers can be annoying if they sneak up on you).  That said, I can kill them QUICKLY.  Brutes take me 2-3 clips, where as Marauders are just 2 shots, 1 if someone's already shaved some of their shield off.

See, for me, the Brutes are usually walking grenades as I combo biotics off them.

On this topic.

How come THEIR Phaestons spit fire and death, but mine only fires flower petals and rainbows?

Also, their hitboxes need a little look imo, I can't hit them in cover even when half their heads are sticking up.

ARs need a x2 buff damagewise, same with SMGs. Make AR/SMG weight more than pistols to balance it out.

Currently it's ridiculous that some ARs weight less than pistols, also pistols doing more damage ( and DPS ) than ARs.

Well tonight when we were playing gold V Cerberus, one game I was draining Centurions and Nemesis barriers with Energy drain.  Then the next game I wasn't, it was leaving just one bar left so i couldn't follow up with a widow shot for the kill.  But then Later in that same game, it went back to normal, i could drain the barriers in one energy drain shot.

No changes to my character occured acorss those games.

pretty weird.

The Nemesis is kind of the same way. They apparently have a Raptor(Or so says the description) but they do about as much damage as my Widow in a single shot.

Rather than we are the OP, it seems all the character really nerfed down by BioWare.

Look at ME 1, we can kicked their arse more than the enemy,e ven our squadmate stronger.

in ME 2 and ME 3 nah 'More Challenging' by nerfed down US and give the enemy stronger

@Yigorse.

actually you can shoot their head, i did a few with my phalanx only on Silver.

the best to distract Marauder is with Missile type power (Incinerate, cryo blast...etc), they will avoid that and you can spam direct power attack (Overlaod, Reave.etc....) when they showed up.

this is standard millitary Issue for all wall cover enemy anyway

if you pissed off just spam grenade.

Nemesis:
-Has a Raptor in her hands
-The Raptor says it's used by Nemesis
-Codex entry says they use Widows

MOST of their head is OK, but it's the top few centimetres just before you get to the crest that's apparently outside of the boundary.

play as Infiltrator, Cloak and Grab or melee them also if you still pissed.

Mostly if im pissed off, i just do like my words above (with different class of course). Or i just running to the back side and give them Surprise Butt attack.

I love melee every enemy even banshee and Phantom ( i did twice in Silver) if they pissed me off, but in smart way even with krogan Soldier/ sentinel.

just move and find another way around to deal with it.

Im afraid they will nerf Salarian Energy Drain and probably Decoy aswell. Both of those abilities make Gold runs significantly easier.

I also wonder if the Decoy is somehow bugged since he seems to survive a lot longer than what his shields can absorb (tanking 4 pyros and 2 geth prime for more than 15 seconds seems a bit too good).

Energy Drain is also a lot better than overload since it restores your Shields by 50/100% which is a big advantage over other classes in Gold.

They will probably further buff SMG and assault Rifles aswell. There are still many weapons that are just not good enough for Gold runs (Geth Rifle, Phaeston, all smgs, they just tickle the enemies on gold).

Stasis is meant more as a CC that just happens to be able to produce a BE, it's not supposed to be better damage than warp->throw.


I don't want it to be better DAMAGE, just be able to combo at all, like it used to. There's no better CC than just killing the crowds, and BEs are AoE damage/force, so just detonating something in the center of the crowd generally does more good than stopping them for a few seconds and then proceeding to be unable to do anything but fire a pea-shooter because EVERYTHING's on cooldown. xD So IMO, it's significantly less useful now. It just needs like a 2 second adjustment to bring it back in line. But again, I don't expect it to change. :C

Anyway. I also hope the GPR gets a buff. I like geth weapons; 'tis a shame that one's utterly useless.

Even Revenant seem kicked, i think this is the best AR for Soldier to me.

I still kick a hell of punch

-N7 Valiant will be nerfed. This SR is too godly.

+Decent damage
+Fast firing rate 
+High reload speed
= High DPS sniper rifle

Lighter
No recoil
Decent amount of ammo

Having both Black Widow I and N7 Valiant, I still wonder which sniper is better. What I like about the Valiant is that it's a forgiving weapon. It's not a big deal when you miss your target. Very powerfull weapons in the hands of a noob.

Hmm seems like a lot of concern about Cloak and ED.. I'm not sure how far they go. For one, BW doesn't (just) listen to commentary on the forums, they actually pull telemetry from games. I don't think ED features that prominently; if it did it would have shown up within these 3 weeks and would probably have met the nerf bat already.

Cloak however is a (slight) problem, since if intelligently used can make objective cap very simple. Doesn't help jack in hacking though, and ambiguous for assassinations. Many people may not know that when cloak, health and shields are not regenerated, so using Cloak is not as safe as it sounds (especially since cloaking near enemies usually results in said enemy spraying the area anyway). Despite this, yeah, I think there might be a tweak down forthcoming. And I say this as an Infiltrator player.

One thing about balance... we have to remember that the balance tweaks are meant for all levels. Bronze, Silver and Gold all will have separate tweaks; however these tweaks would be with regards to enemy behaviour/ stats. Weapons stats and player class abilities appears to be constant across all levels, at least from the balance notes that is pinned.

So any changes to player class abilities, powers and stats will likely have to be balanced across all levels. BW can't just balance for Gold because that would make Bronze ridiculously easy, and that would just in the mid-term cut off the flow of players progressing to Gold. End of day, Bronze remains the most sizable portion of the online community and BW has to cater to/ keep in mind that to some degree.

I strongly suspect they may do something with Decoy and how it works on Geth, maybe reduce it's defences a little, or maybe both. Currently, it has a 100% success rate with Geth, and only a 50% with Cerberus and Reapers. Personally, I wouldn't mind this getting a little nerf, if only to up the challenge of Geth on Gold a bit more.

I have a feeling they may add more of the "boss" class units to silver and gold waves as well, to give a greater challenge. I also hope they'll do something to fix the bug that means you still get class cards even when you've maxed them all out (level 20, and all customise options unlocked)

there is a beeping sound effect, and a red grenade symbol that appears when a grenade is close to you.
