Dude, just get to the game, put that outfit in her and then try to aim at her. She will duck... And you will see for yourself.

I just find it funny, some guy, or girl, spent real time modelling that. "Honey, what did you do at work today? Well dear I..."

Er... hehe... wow.

And here I was expecting the DLC add at the end of the game. Or a picture of Chobot. Either of which would have worked.

I can't say I ever noticed that though. Pretty funny how out of all the female characters in the game, the ROBOT is the only one with a cameltoe... granted, it's not like I'm checking too often.

This could actually get me to actually play the game again for the first time. I'm not sure what else to say.

Just launched the game.  No ******.  In fact, it is extremely dark, even in the brightest environmental conditions.  This leads to either two conclusions: The pictures in question are of modded content OR the developer had planned to just darken it out entirely and ignore touching up that region which explains the lack of textures and the way the skin texture seems to conflict in the area.  Basically, instead of patching it up, just make it seem dark and unnoticeable.  In short, it looks more like laziness than perversion.  Some lighting conditions either make the mistake visible, or the lighting has to be tuned up to see the sloppy artwork on the model.

Again, for those of you who think that sounds illogical, be dirty-minded. :P

It's real.

Oh. You get it from changing her costumes. I'm so glad I kept EDI in her default skin.

I think what's more likely is they simply recycled Miranda's model (which had the same thing) and did a quick re-texture for this game.

Would explain it, actually, because if the model itself was different, the skin used on it wouldn't appropriately fit, and in areas with two many shapes/bends it would cause tearing.  They looked like they tweaked some colours and removed the cerberus emblems, but you're right, it'd take less time and thus money to alter an existing skin then make one from scratch.  If you pay attention to some of the screenshots, the akward texturing seems to happen at more than just that region.  Take the underside for example, it seems to happen at the legs and back area two, and not just a line, but like a full whole of weird colours which is the "tearing" I'm refering to since the skin isn't properly fitted.  They probably tried to fix it with lighting tricks, but apparently that isn't foolproof.  :P

Of course, even if this makes sense to people, they're going to want to believe the perverted excuse more.

Again, it's not modded or photoshopped. I don't have any mods on my game and I can clearly see EDI's "equipment" in my game.

The reviews from all the major game sites say that EDI's model is well-crafted and tasteful. We must be seeing things that aren't there...

...again.

It's neither a mod nor a photoshop. EDI's white latex outfit quite clearly has the cameltoe. It's harder to see on the dark latex outfit, but it's there too. If you leave EDI in her 'base' unclothed form, she doesn't have it. If you use EDI's *other* outfit, it doesn't have it.

To *heh* reproduce this image, just go to the squad selection screen and select the white latex outfit.

I'm Commander Shepard and that's the best camel-toe on the Normandy.

Your avatar makes me think of a Volus saying that.

It would be pretty obvious to Volus. They are the right height.

I wonder if there are different models on different platforms. That could explain it.

It's something about how they make the texture, reflecting a half of the suit to get a symetrical suit, blah blah blah. Femshep had the same thing in ME2, if I remember right.

And if nothing exists originally, then it would take extra effort to add it in intentionally and wouldn't make much sense, would it?  Obviously it's a lack of touch-up.

Still, if anyone would like, feel free to PM me with more of your screenshots so I can do a bit more.. research!

I didn't know some people still didn't know about that. It's on youtube, google, everywhere since the game was released. It's "old news" actually. I find it funny some people still think it's a mod or photoshop... But don't take my word for it. Get her in that outfit, aim at her, she will duck and you will see.
Sad but true.
