 Hello.

So I really want to start a brand new Mass Effect profile and start at the beginning. Kind of. I don't want to start at level 1, I want to use one of my level 60 careers to begin a New Game +. 

The catch is I want to get the Onyx X Heavy Armor, because that seems like the armor Shepard would stick to. 

My latest save is right before the final confrontation with Saren, so at this point it seems a little difficult to do the armor reloading trick (which I don't quite understand). 

I'm trying to get into the game's Console commands so I can get the armor that way. 

The entry in BIOInput looks like this:

[Engine.Console]
ConsoleKey=Tab
MaxScrollbackSize=1024
HistoryBot=-1

I had it set to ConsoleKey=Tilde earlier, but it wasn't working. 

Just want to start a NewGame+ with a level 60 Soldier Shepard with his iconic Onyx heavy armor. Halp?

I'm going to assume you've seen http://masseffect.wi.../wiki/PC_Cheats
Because if not, it's a great source for info regarding the use of the console.

I have. That's where I learned I could even open the console, and that's where I found the instructions for opening it. I just can't get it to open.

Still no luck opening the console. Is there something I'm not entering in correctly?

Maybe I'll try the other keys, or put the line in other locations. I thought I made a mistake by editing the BIOInput folder in the Bioware folder in Program Files, and not the one in My Documents. After editing the latter, it still isn't showing that it works.
