The key is only available if you didn't access the mages' chest back in the beginning of the game in Ostagar fyi.

@JohnTefi - the "get crystals free from Bella" glitch does not work on PC, it's console only.

@dakilla73 - Asturian's Might is obtainable by getting all the clues and reciting the Warden's Oath at Asturian's painting over the stairs--it's really easy to miss and has to be done before leaving the keep after closing the Veil since there's no re-entry...

Not sure I should ask this here, but since it is about a quest I'll take my chances.

Right now I'm doing the 'lost in dreams' quest and I'm stuck. I freed Wynne and Leliana so only Shale is left. Problem is, I can't reach her. Some 'rabbit-like' statue is blocking my way, it is like some sort of invisible wall. Anyone else had this problem or knows how to fix it?

(I know I can beat Sloth without her but her help would be appreciated.)

Right.
Position your PC
Press the key on your keyboard that moves your PC forward. By default it's the 'W' key.

You need the Spirit form to use the spirit doors.You get that in the Darkspawn Invasion part of the Fade.

Is there any purpose to all the blank vellum scrolls you get in the circle tower or is it just a misc item you can sell to earn gold?

@Leo: as far as i know it's only for selling. and you can also find those in orzammar and other places...



my question is: can someone tell me all the possible spell-combinations. the game gives 2, but what about the other 8. the game manual says there are 10 which you have to find out yourself...??

Frustration has set in! I can not access ORTAN THAIG even though I have the quest "Anvil of the Void". Any ideas why not? I can get to Aeducan Thaig and Caridin's Cross but no further??

Hey I been trying to solve the Topsider quest, Dead caste, where is the one Thaig not sure the name. and the bald guy that stole the rune or tome. I been to Shales Thaig. unlocked most of them and destroyed the anvil. I can't seem to get these minor quest done. I ran into a bald guy he past it on he said and I killed him. I killed the store owner of dust town. The shaper won't discuss the Dead caste. I looked in dust town still a bald guy won't talk to me. does not even have the talk thing. Kalshrok or however you spell it can't find that Thaig. Also is there a way to get to Orlasis or that other country on the map been to schulers pass many times. do I need certain charters with me. Or for that fact can't return to Kakari wilds. if you know tell me so I can get some of these minor quest out of the way.

The stolen tome and the Dead Caste are unrelated quests. You can't go outside of Ferelden, not topside and not in the Deep Roads. Forget Kal Sharok.

hi guys, Ive just found a 2nd secret door - in the upper ruins, the first is at the top of the stairs on the left before you cross the tree bridge, watch out there are 2 skeletons in the secret room with the chest that contains the love letter, and another 2 skeletons on the opposite side.



the 2nd secret door, is just after you cross the bridge to where the 2 werewolves attack you, on the left, there is 2 piles of bones which yield a darkspawn bow.

Nug Pet - In orzammar after Leliana mentions she would like to have one, go talk to the "Idle Dwarf" in dust town. he'll go get one for you. you may have to have leliana with when you do the nug quest in order to get the cut scene where she says she wants one. afterwards the nug pet will be at your party camp behind leliana.

How does the enchantment thing work (the little dwarven guy at camp sais I can do it) I have some runes and what not, but it states that I have no weapon or something? how does this work? BTW great info here, thanks =D
