How does Enchantment work with the little dwarf guy from camp. I have the runes, but it says that I have no weapon? why is that?

Actually, you need to talk to Leliana in Orzammar after she makes the "dirty" comment.  I think that's where a lot of people fail in this particular quest.

Well, in order to enchant a weapon with runes, you need to have a weapon with available slots. You can check that by going into your backpack, and inspecting your weapon. Tier 1 and 2 weapons don't have any slots, Tiers 3 4 and 5 weapons have 2 slots and Tier 6 and 7 weapons have 3 available slots. (Correct me if I'm wrong). Also, many times if an item was found at a higher tier, it may not have the proper amount of slots. Just put it in the chest at Warden's Peak or sell it to Mikhael Dryden and you should scale it appropriately and add slots if possible. (That is, if you have that DLC). If you do have a weapon with open slots, and it still does not allow you to put runes into it, then idk whats wrong.

The is a good cheat sheet i made for the fade portion of circle tower quest. It tells me where you get all the ability forms so I'm not running in circles.

Not all tier 3 weaponry have enchantment slots, and many (such as Oathkeeper) only have 1 slot.

Have you sided with the mages or the templars?
When you have sided with the templars he's gone, so don't buy the stuff from that guy in Orzammar.
When you have sided with the mages you can find him in the closet on the 'senior mages' floor.

She's on the first floor, once you go in the main hall, there are 4 doors/entrances on your right and 1 on your left.  It's the last door on your right all the way at the end of the main hall.

@ransompendragon - I use Firefox + adblockplus + noscript (as a side note I do computer security for a living) and I apologize if the wikia site somehow has a malware connection...but I've never seen any myself. If you're surfing the 'net with IE right now, you're in danger unless you're very well patched--are you sure the virus-scan related popups are from wikia?

Hey, I got a question. I searched through the 1st post, but didn't find any info on the quest.

The last bit of Crime wave, where you go to steal Tears of Andraste, in Bann Franderel's estate there is a drinking table. If you got Poison skill, then you have several options - put deadly poison, put sleeping poison, put rat poison, and 4th I can't remember what kind of poison - into the cups of guards.

Does someone know how it works, i.e. what is supposed to work and how? I chose to put deadly poison and they servant took the cups to the guards, and I went there thinking they'd collapse, but they just fought me as they'd normally do.

Ahh this stumped me the first time too, but if you go to Caridin'd Cross you need to exit in the southern most part to advance deeper in the deep roads. I hope this helps.

Off topic.

From my
experience the pop ups and similar things on internet pages that insist that
you have some sort of malware on your computer are either scamming attempts or
fishy pages that are more likely to give you viruses or Trojans. My recommendation
is stay clear of the adds and possibly getting Firefox and the Adblock add-on.

I'm stuck at killing Arl Howe...any advice? and can I take Shale with me and NOT fight every soldier or does it have to be only humans to make the sneaky part work? My {C is a rogue and Alister and Shale are my two main tanks...any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Shale can NOT be used in Howe's Estate. The Handmaid says that "statue-person" won't be believed, and Shale replies "Yes, Statue-person can not help" and you are sent to the party selection screne, and Shale is blacked out ("Statue-person" is slightly paraphrased, but the word "Golem" is not used, probably because the Devs decided that having Shale go haywire wouldn't fit in the story).



Any Mage with the Forcefield spell should be able to keep Howe down while everyone else deals with the Guards & the mages in the room. after they are down, Howe falls quickly with 4 people bashing on him.

Thank you I figured Shale couldnt be used but I just thought the idea of him sneaking in would be funny since he's so obvious...and has anyone else found that when you leave soldiers peak you cant go back in? I was gonna try to figure out how to get behind the painting but because I left it wont let me back in...that sucks!

Has anyone read "The Stolen Throne" by David Gaider ( the lead writer for the Dragon Age universe) and if so, is the Loghain that they talk about in the book the same Loghain from the game?

Almost ALL characters in the books, are in the game. So yes, the Loghain from the books is the same Loghain that you face off against in Landmeet.

Yeah, I know shale is female but I just cant seem to call it such, I dont know why. And I have no idea what painting, I got all the journal parts, in the jam and such, but I cant go on from there, and now I'm not even allowed back in the fortress cause I left and came back, so I cant complete it with this toon anyway...

Hmmm.... After you complete the Quest (the Veil is sealed), go around the upper floor with the tab key pressed (Or whatever key for the Consoles). It'll be obvious, then.
