It is what it is I guess.
But man, ME2 was the best in the series for me, so many characters, so many things you could do, and that ending. Oh that ending. Best. Ending. Ever.

When ME1 came out, " I MISS KOTOR!!!"
When ME2 came out, " I MISS ME1!!!"
Now that ME3's out, "I MISS ME2"
The two years that everyone spent complaining about that game will be forgotten as they suddenly remember "yeah that suicide mission thing was pretty cool wasn't it? Wish ME3 coulda been more like that"

Here we go. Once a new game comes out, nostalgia for the previous game kicks in.

It happens with every game although when I compare it to the Halo forums this is nothing.

The pointless storyline. The horrible boring side quests. The terrible loyalty missions.
The only thing great that came out of that game was the awesome character cast, and the sucicide mission.
Opinions, I know...but still. ME2 had 1,000 issues for me.

personally the story was leaps and bounds better than KOTOR 2... and less glitchy. felt more compelled to play KOTOR over and over than KOTOR 2.

Oh hey, there's a chest high wall sitting in the middle of an open field, and the music just changed, I'm about to be attacked. Rinse and repeat.
Basically, the combat in Mass Effect 2 was extremely repetitive.

-Why have a door on ME 3 that says "Bypass" just so that you can see your character touch it for a few seconds before it opens, what the fudge happend to the circuit boards mini game from number 2???
-Why are there so few N7 suits.. And why do you have to rebuy the ME 2 DLC armour at stores (if you already owned them in ME 2)???
-Where the hell is my collector assault rifle in ME 3 (PS3 version)?
-Why the hell is the Citadel the only place I can explore???
ect ect ect...
Just too many things to mention... Just wish they kept it the same as what they did in MAss Effect 2. It had the perfect balance for me on both an RPG, exploration and gameplay perspective.

People hated the minigames so BioWare took them out. That was a good move in my opinion.WolfyZA wrote...

Yeah I'm not a fan of sequels having less of something than the games that came before it. I hate GTA IV because it lacked a lot of elements compared to its predecessor.Just wish they kept it the same as what they did in MAss Effect 2. It had the perfect balance for me on both an RPG, exploration and gameplay perspective.

ME3's no different. You just turtle up, and survive waves instead, now.
