I don't understand.. you mean you can't load your game because you can't access the internet or do you mean you can't access the internet because something is wrong with the memory ring?
If it's just because you have no internet access you'll have to start up a new game. The memory ring I think is one of the items that doesn't work at all unless you have internet hooked so it won't load up that game when not connected... but most the other DLC works without the internet.

i have internet, its just not hooking to the dragon age servers, message says:dragon age servers temporarily unavailable, try again. then the ring does not show up on the downloaded list. because i have the ring in those saves, i cant use them if not on a server. i have other characters i started when i sign out of xbox live that have all the downloads, i can use them when i cant get the server but, my 1st 2 are lvl 25 and lvl 20, had to start over

Wow.. I've never gotten that error.. I get the" cant' connect to da server user storage error" but i'm still connected to the internet. That's a weird one.
As for getting a response you can see that the xbox users are pretty much ignored. I have no idea what you yourself could do to fix it seeing as it most likely is something on their end and not yours. Hopefully someone will come along with an answer. .. I wish I had some answers for you.

I've been getting that error all day. I haven't changed anything about my account. I can't even load my game because I'm in a DLC area I paid for. It'd be super if EA told me why I'm being denied access to the content I paid for.

The problem is, the server is instable and downright sucks. Sometimes you connect just fine with the Server, otherwise you won't.
Sometimes you happen to have correct and fast uploads of your characters and stats, sometimes you happen to see an upload from a week old character you already deleted on the game.
Thing is, I have it too, but I don't get bothered too much. I play to experience the game, not to look up on the site which eventually will update.

No server, no load your game. EA's server stability dictates whether we get to load our game saves or if we get to stare at our Xbox and wonder why we spent $60 on a game that only works when EA has its servers up. My mind is blown. Will NEVER buy another game from them that depends on server connectivity to let me play.

Well, i guess its either i go with the flow of the error messages, or Really ditch DAO, and go the other way and trade it and get borderlands in the process, Coz this server issues are really ticking me off. I think EA needs a little shake from the fans of DAO , to get things going. I am going with the flow for now and if the release of RTO has more bugs than the game itself and the server. then Sorry Bioware/EA heading the other way.

Trade this heap of **** in for Borderlands. At least Gearbox has excellent customer support!

I second this. Even if there is a fix to bypass the DAO servers, its generally unacceptable to stay online to get a savegame working. Dont know what people are thinking when developing such a bs (and it is bs, because the license system works pretty fine on Xbox, at least fine enough to leave such "you have to stay online when you wanna play your game" out). But maybe they will fix it. In a week or two...

Once the DA servers are accessible again, you should make sure you have all the necessary licenses for your bonus DLC before continuing play. The game only requires a connection to the DA servers when the necessary DLC authentication isn't on your Xbox hard drive. To get it, you need to force-download every item to which you are entitled, as discussed in the thread referenced below.
