Hey everyone,

Please keep this civil, constructive and in relation to the users thread.

The reason CE points you to these forums is because we as developers do read these boards very often. We see your issues and I can guarantee you that we definitely are working to resolve them.

If you have any questions, concerns or comments please PM me.

WOw the first reply in months on the ps3 tech saport. well thanks but in a way we tried to be civil about things but with the lack of responces on this portion of the forums makes us upset that you guys would do this to the PS3 comunity. We do keep track of other responces by Bioware on other comunities an its veary sad to see that you treat the PS3 comunity like crap. It would be nice to get a CLEAR answore to our questions and a RESPONCE to our concerns.

Interesting to see a gameplay experience comparison between digital and disc. I'm almost tempted to drop the extra $$$ for digital and check it out.

I'm playing the Digital PS3 version on my Slim. I've had 4 hard crashes in multiplayer that required me to pull the power cord - the system could not gracefully shut down. Thought it was over after the first two weeks, like it was a server problem or something... but it happened again today. After these crashes it has to run the PS3 recovery mode; so far it's not had any problems.

Also, in campaign mode, if my game's been on for some period around 5 hours, it starts skipping the visuals and audio. From there the only way to recover it is to exit and restart the game. Powering down isn't necessary, and other games don't seem to have this issue - including Mass Effect 2, which I was replaying recently on the hardest setting.  It's such a reliable thing that it makes me think _memory leak_ but, I do tend to see console issues incorrectly in PC terms, sometimes.

I've tried a reinstall and leaving more space open on the drive, and it has not helped with these issues. It's good to see that PS3 issues are being looked at.

Its great to know that Bioware knows there is an issue,  its relieving to know that you guys are working on it.  Would it be possible to have an ETA to when we can feel confident to put the game back into our console safely?

Yeah, between this and the 'ending' issues I have put the SP campaign on a go-slow and am stretching out the experience by playing MP every night.

These issues really do need to be addressed. I got ME3 three days ago and I thought my PS3 was dying due to issues with loading and some horrible drive noises. Now I know the issue is with the game but it's really not a good feeling when the game pauses every few seconds to load while I walk through the Citadel. It's obvious that there is too much strain on the disc drive and I am hoping that it won't be too long until they allow us to install the game or patch the problems in some way.

I have posted countless times so far.

The main issue is one: Framerate. Thomas, you say that you are reading what we say, I must have made more than 50 constructive and polite posts asking for you guys to step up and speak to us concerning the framerate and received nothing in return. How can you ignore us like that constantly and not expect some collateral damage? People are feeling ignored and its perfectly logical to get angry, because we are your fans and we expect better.

^ THIS. By far the most enraging problem with ME3 is the consistant MP crashes. I've talied up to 16 crashes after the first 3. Thats 19 games of lost exp and credits (don't get me started on the credits lost from dropped games and bugs). Not only does it make my play experiance less enjoyable but I also find myself not wanting to even start ME3. It's been 3 weeks since release and this is a pretty nasty bug that I figured should have been resolved by now. I admit I don't know anything about programming games so I'll wait and be patiant like everyone else. Just bummed I dropped money on something I thought would be more enjoyable than what I'm dealing with now.

The simple answer is that we cannot post in every thread. We cannot reply to every question.

The long answer is:

Unfortunately due to how busy we (still) are working on additional content a lot of our team has not signed up (for a BW tag) on these forums (don't get this confused with browsing, they very much browse). I can tell you that almost every single post that is made here is read by someone on our team.

I can tell you that if you PM me any questions, comments and/or concerns that I will try to get back to you as soon as I can regardless of what you're asking.

I hope this clears a few things up.

Yeah thanks tom for at least taking the time to post here. Just please understand that we want to play the hell out of this game but when it poses a threat to our consoles than im sure you can understand our overwhelming impatience.

idk why you guys complain about ME3 framerate, i played the game 2 times, platinum it, played until lvl 250+ on multiplayer and the game never dropped a single frame on me.
if you encounter many drop frames that's bc your PS3 system is overheating and probably soo full of dust that it make your game playing sloppy.
i clean my PS3 with an air compressor every month and it run like a brand new since oct. 2009

this. clean your **** and it works fabulous.

Helpful tip: instead of pulling the power plug, hold down the power button on the PS3.  You have to hold it down for a while, but it will eventually shut the machine down.  Less risk of damaging your system that way (which is probably why slims don't have a power switch like the phats do).  The PS3 will still do recovery mode when you start it back up, but again, it's preferable to shut it down with the power button versus using the cord.

i don't want to boycott anything i just want the framerate fixed. why do we not have the option to install stuff to our hard drives? would this not alleviate the load times and improve framerate?
mass effect 2 took a little over 5GBs of hard drive space and framerate was no where near as bad as this game.

No, it isn't. At this time, we will NOT be allowed to participate in Operation Raptor this weekend.

I have reported my issues on this forum to make bioware aware of my problem, i am not in the least intrested in the  opinion of some 'know it all' who thinks he knows whats wrong with my equipment.

Yes, my biggest issue is the freezing. If they would not fix this i will certainly not buy there products for ps3 anymore, at least not blindly, as it would damage my faith in them in there support for the ps3 as a platform. Since they have stated to be working on resolving issues i will just wait and see what happens. As far as cleaning goes, mass effect 3 is the only game that i have problems with, therefore i think its unlikely that this is a cleaning issue.
