The more you stay silent, it seems the more guilty you look. Also you mentioned splitting the team up to build more future content? Seriously? That tell's me you've paid no attention to your users or customers who paid money for a broken product (lemon) and have already made up your mind and shovled these issue under the rug and looking to the future of lining your pocket with $$$, instead of fixing a broken game (lemon) for over a month now?

Let's look at this very simply:
EA's servers, when I play SSX, track the movements, score, time and even animations of hundreds of thousands of other players, all in real-time.
BioWareEA is telling us that EA's servers cannot track how many times certain creatures are killed or how often we promote? Because other than that, what is the "technical issue"? It can't be "we can't give you the reward packs" because anyone can see that promotional packs go up on the PSN store. When I "win" an event in SSX, even if I'm not logged into the game, I still get the money. So even if - and that's a big if - they couldn't give us the "special packs", they ABSOLUTELY could let us do the event with a different reward - we could have gotten 100k credits per promotion, for example.
But EA's servers do track that already! When I log into multiplayer, EA's servers know what my N7 rank is, it knows what level all my characters are, etc.
Not being included in the special events literally CAN NOT be a hardware, software, or any other kind of "technical" issue. If you look at all the available information, it really can't.
THAT is what gaming blogs need to report on. Not rumors about DLC endings.
IIRC it took them 3 months to patch out the bug in DA2 which made two of your party members almost literally unusable.

It has been 4 weeks since release. So guessing that a few more months until a bug fix is released , this based on last years ME2 release and how long in took to fix issues then with no additional content being produced.
I don't expect a patch 1 month after release, but I do expect one. Bug fixes should at least in my opinion be more a priority then addional content.
ME3 does appear to work better then ME2 , however it has only been about 1 month, and it is now that issues start showing up more. Not sure why it happens like that, maybe related to the save file size getting larger, or game data getting corrupted over time?
I understand that bug fixes are difficult to track down and replicate to try and isolate what causes them in an effort to fix them. Having worked in a software company for 10 years doing part time beta testing and QA I have learned that it is not possible to find all the issues in a small group of QA testers during product development. That is where the million ps3 users come in handy as testers after release. Guessing they are not allowed to release beta code to PS3 gamers, but then what do I know, as I have only been a ps3 owner for 2 years.
Ps I had no issues with the ending, until I started reading why so many hated it. Should it be changed , no idea

I recall Bioware stating that if you could see a difference from platform to platform they haven't done their job. So why did I pop in my PS3 copy and immediately notice that every thing looked very blurry. Load times were also very long (no install).
I prefer to buy games for my PS3, but it seems lately that the PS3 has gotten the shaft.

Thats a joke right??
Its been over a week now. Please enlighten me on how much patience is acceptable? I am of the opinion that when I buy a game, I expect it to work, not potentally destroy my PS3. If you have no issues with yours, then i envy you. But many of us are being ripped off.
Also. I love your post, complaining about people complaining. /endsarcasm

I usually have the patience of a brick wall.
But the wall starts to crumble when there has been no acknowledgement from the developers about issues they intend to fix. They claim to read the forums but we only have their word for it; a commonly used tactic to appease the community.
They haven't been forthcoming despite numerous requests to stand up and be counted - the silence from them reeks of coorporate arrogance.
The treatment of their fanbase is a disgrace and it's outrageous that this company can get away with it.
It's one excuse after another.
They alieniate core sections of the community (in my case, an android user and a PS3 user).
A company who caters for only a section of their fanbase deserves no respect.
A company who releases an unfinished product to the market deserves the treatment they've received.
It's outrageous and I'm suprised not more people have complained about the ongoing issues.
We've been quite patient, but there is only so much one can take, and the thread you've created is self righteous and as arrogant as the replies we get from the developers.
So please get off your high horse because you're just annoying others.

MAYBE (???) it's because they are stalling the events for a chance to get us (PS3 users) in on the next one. Any up to the minute updates from Bioware with a forthcoming explaination and info would be INCREDIBLY appreciated.

F**K no. Ive been patient. I payed for a product. It doesnt work. Saying be patient at this point is just going to put people on the defensive. Its like buying a brand new car and the makers tell you after having some issues that there are problems that may cause catastrophic failure. So you sit there with a brand new car you cant do shi* with and wait for a month now to use the damn thing with no answers despite calling and texting and posting for updates.ypmud wrote...

This "Oh Im sorry. You were expecting your product to work when you bought it. Ahhh my bad" is starting to really fu**ing ****** me off in the game industry today. It is unacceptable. What is more unacceptable is how these game ending and potential console breaking issues, very much prevelant, were missed by an entire QA division before being released to the public. I would play Mass Effect 3 if it was possible to fu**ing play Mass Effect 3.
Someone here previously said they didnt expect patches to be done in the first month because it takes time. Bulls**t! I expect a patch the first f**king day if your sh** is broken! I am owed that. You are owed that. Everyone here is owed that when they buy a defective product.

So we know that Bioware can track the PS3 gameplay stats (see announcement for Operation Beachhead - if we have the online option for that checked). The ONLY problem, therefore, is that somehow Sony objects to Bioware singling out players based on their gameplay stats for the purpose of awarding commendation packs... THIS MAKES NO SENSE!!!
I spoke to the highest level of customer support at Sony that you can, and he was a SUPER nice guy who was obviously a gamer and knew all about the things I was asking. He straight up said that Sony does not even have control over in-game rewards, since those are handed out by the EA server, not the PSN or the PSN store. He even brought up the very example I've used - he said "For example, if you've played SSX, the in-game money you get from winning events has nothing to do with us, they don't need our permission for in-game rewards."
Seriously, it's time to get some gaming blogs to shine a spotlight on this.

Well then, as much as I dislike mindlessly subscribing to conspiracy theories, if it ain't a technical issue then it is probably a 'business' issue, meaning money changing hands (or not).
