But I've got to think twice

Before I give my heart away

And I know all the games you play

Because I play them too :police:

can anyone confirm/deny if this patch helped the PS3 issues? Before I start playing again?

Still got fairly major fps issues on the Presidium Commons post-patch.

Still got major lag upon entering MP.

New: issues verifying DLC at main menu causing game to freeze (had to exit to XMB and restart)

Didn't fix my issue, which is the game locking up my PS3 during late rounds. My game just froze on wave 9 of a Gold match.

After reading the Xbox 360 (and of course the PS3) forums, one has to assume that this patch has not fixed anything. In fact, many are reporting more instability. It really is a shame that bioware has been given such a bad name over this. I am still willing to (and want to) give bioware a chance, but not at the expense of my console.

Is it just me or does it seem like there are times where we should get war assets and we dont. For example you would think that having Dr. Michel or Chakwas on the Normandy would get you war assets but it doesnt for me. Is this a glitch in my game or is it the same for everyone?

Also my game got pretty laggy towards on Priority: Earth but that was it. I hope they fix this soon because it was really annoying.Image IPB

I'm very tempted to ask a question that could get me in hot soup but seeing us PS3 owners ONCE AGAIN LEFT OUT OF AN EVENT it's becoming difficult not to say it!

Ask away and worry not about possible consequences; Bioware does not come here and will never see what we write anyway.

Fine...Question to Bioware: HOW MUCH HAS MICRO$OFT PAID YOU?

Possible answer: Microsoft has indeed paid us a 10-figure amount to ensure the PS3 version gets an inferior version. They weren't happy during the SPIKE GAME AWARDS that UNCHARTED 2 won the Game of the Year back then. Although the last two winners after Uncharted 2 weren't Sony exclusives, Micro$oft wasn't satisfied that the winner wasn't an Xbox 360 exclusive title.

My thought on what answer BW would give. Sorry in advance BW, but with the problems still being experienced after the patch and the problems still persisting on the PS3 version as well as the PS3 owners not being allowed the share of the pie how can they remain calm about it?

This is why I traded my copy towards the Xbox version. I know that not everybody has that option, and frankly it is something I should not have had to do. I even lose out on my Collectors Edition Content, no way I am giving them another 9.99 for the prothean. And My commander Shepherd misses his hoodie!

is the xbox version more stable?  if it is I might just do the same.  But judging from thier forums, they have issues as well.   let me know how it goes for you.

I've found it to be much better. It runs smoother for me in both single and multi-player modes. Just disappointing that I had to pay so much extra. If they had been upfront and honest about the differences between platforms I would have just preordered the n7 edition for xb360 instead. But no, BioWarEA got twice as much out of me, and I miss out on the collectors edition content that I paid for. But again, it runs so much better on 360, not perfect, but better.

Here is the main issue... I dont think its all Biowares fault.  Sony seems to be acting like a spoiled brat about this game too because of the heavy adverstising for this about Kinect but never was that crappy Move considered part of the motion control.

Im a huge PS3 fan but sony is really dropping the ball on this crap between the PSN plus wanna be xbox gold thing and now delaying patches, refusing special events, and other stuff that is basically making wish I had the PC version Id say all that energy that was channeled into the who change the ending needs to be redirected at stopping the political nit picking going behind the scenes.

I mean the biggest issue I have with this so far is the multiplayer is choppy and unreliable.  Nothing worse than bug that causes random crashes which means by wave 9 you spent almost 20minutes and get nothing at all for it.   This is an issue with both companies from what I see not just Bioware.

It is a much better version.  I had the PS3 first because Bioware said if they did their job there would be no difference, but there are big differences.

It was nice not having to change disc, but in the long run not worth it.

360 pros
smooth FR
less freezing
crisper graphics
more content (if you import a save started with ME)

360 cons
disc swaps (can be limited to 2)

All in all if you only have a PS3 you got hosed

reason I got the PS3 version of ME3 is due to the saved game files I have in ME2.  It is rather too much for me to buy the same game for the Xbox (I have not gotten to that point of devotion yet to Mass Effect - i.e. having the ME game both on my XBOX & PS3) - & I'd rather not trade or sell my PS3 version for less to get the XBOX version.

Right now ME is my favorite game despite of the issues (freeze/hang & the ME3 ending).  It is just a shame that BW had these issues on ME3 post launch, because the ME series is really a great game that make one care for the characters & the its universe.  This is a successful franchise, problem is the last installment was marketed to much (hype) and sadly it did not meet expectations :(

I am still optimistic that they can fix this (Ending debacle and the technical issues on the PS3).  They have a lot in their hands right now.  I am curious though how they manage their resources (manpower) and how they are allocated to fix/resolve the reported issues.  Believe me it is diffcult to handle multiple tasks in a project, multitasking most of the time is ineffective (poor results).
