Ok is the EA Core Server Application allowed through your Firewall.
The file should be C:Origin GamesMass Effect 3BinariesWin32CoreEACoreServer.exe
If not you may need to add it.
It is.
Same.

I got mine to work (unless someone fixed something)
Go to C:Program FilesOrigin GamesMass Effect 3BIOGameDLC (assuming you're using C:)
Move DLC_OnlinePassHidCE folder to your desktop (keeping it just for a backup, delete it if it works)
Open Origins
Go to the Game Details of Mass Effect 3
Repair Install the DLC called N7 Collector's Edition Materials (The DLC name may vary. Just guess what the online pass may be under.)

Thanks for the tip, sadly this did not fix it for me. But it was worth a try.

@iNgUmA69 I agree it seems that EA has some work to do to fix this issue.
I had the same problem on day one with the DLC and Online Pass and the solutions I suggested worked for me. I had the same problem with Dragon Age 2 so I am getting used to fixing this considering it was the same problem both times.
Hope they fix it soon.

I hope future Bioware games are released on Steam... At least the games there do work...

None of these have worked for me Either.
I have been getting this same error since release day, when I bought From Ashes... I've called EA repeatedly, and they claim that my case is still in the cue...

Regarding the MP issue he was puzzled because according to his information an online pass was only required on PS3/Xbox360, not on PC. He had to escalate the issue further.
All in all a really helpful and understanding chap.

I hope this helps others.
- Put a Shortcut for ME3 on your desktop.
- Right click it and go to properties.
- In the target, after the location of MassEffect3.exe" put the following switch -nohomedir. It should look something like this: "E:OriginGamesMass Effect 3BinariesWin32MassEffect3.exe" -nohomedir
- Click on Advanced, and have it run as administrator.
- Start the game from that shortcut. See if it works.

Dude answer please on one my question: did you have before in main menu point "Downloadable content"?HiGamerCAT wrote...
Problem with Resurgence DLC SOLVED, at least for me.
Decided to try and login on my machine with another account and got the same error. Then used the other account on a different computer and it worked, the Multiplayer DLC loaded. So, i suspected it was my computer and not anything on EA's side.
So next steps... I shut down the game and Origins. Uninstalled origin's client. Went through Registry and deleted any keys with "Mass Effect 3" in it. About 15 probably. Then i deleted the DLC and all config files i could find in the actual game folder. I did not fully delete the game nor did i delete my save games. But in the same game folder i did delete some config / meta looking files.
Re-installed origins, re-installed the DLC's and now everything seems to be working.
