On PC is it broken.
Simply swap inbetween power/weapon screens with LWM on and off: ZERO difference in skill recharge rates. None.

Compare the actual power cooldowns on your power screen. It doesn't make a difference whether you equip a SMG with or without the upgrade.Kr0ink wrote...

If BW wanted to go for the whole space cowboy thing, all pistoles and riiiiiiiiiiifles, then perhaps some artistic changes are in order for the rest of the game? ya, the weapons screen is deceptive, showing a cooldown but there's no actual effect while in actual gameplay & no effect in the powers screen. Testing of it in-game in multiplayer shows no effect --it does work in single-player on PCttchip wrote...

what would be better if they added more armor options on the appearances since there are already different armor models for Shepard Human, Asari (Liari), Krogan, etc in the single-player campaign so swapping pre-made armor models in the multiplayer should be easy
the armor need not have any mods on it (everyoue would choose the Inferno -30% cooldown armor then, LOL), just the appearance
my guess is that they are saving it for paid DLC

That would require a client side patch, I assume.
Judgin by BW past performances at patching, fix will happen in a few months. It has to pass through 2345423 levels of red tape before it reaches us.

...but assault rifles are still worthless. Even if GPR gave me 200% cooldown I would never use it, it simply cannot even tickle a Cannibal, much less one of the big nasties.

I will be staying away from multiplayer until the weekend. Anyways, good weapon buffs for guns that needed them.

I belive this required some backend changes which should out the next actual patch. A dev dropped by the main complaint thread and posted something like that. Hopefully not to much longer. Most of balance tweeks they are doing are continated in bascially a little text/table file. Very easy to Mod weekly and tweek weapon stats, compaired to changing how sound gets rendered.

2) Make cloak actually work - so enemies no longer fire at me when i'm invisible!!
3) Please stop cover from murdering us. When we wanna run its for a reason - we don't wanna hug a wall while being shot in the back!!
4) Fix spectre pack bug - ya know - the one where u purchase a spectre pack and you get nothing but this messege "Failed to purchase item. If this problem persists please contact customer support. Then ur 60,000 credits magically go missing!!

That's becasue instead of making a new post with the newest changes like any sane peron would do, they instead make a new post, then edit the first post to have the new changes while moving all previous changes down a post.
The newest changes are always at the top and are the oldest post. Oldest are always at the bottom and are the newest post.

What they do is make a new post, put the OLDEST change in that, then bump the newer change down a post so that the newest changes are at the top and we don't have to sift through pages to find what was done this week.

That isn't a bug. Cloak and then move. Enemies are designed to remember your last seen location and keep firing there. If you cloak and don't move and you keep getting shot, then it's your own stupid fault.

I actually have both Javelin and Black Widow although I never snipe. I like Carnage spam; we'll see
